Re: Ex-Leinster players
Sounds like Mark Flanagan has been impressing at Mont de Marsan. http://www.thescore.ie/irish-abroad-france-round-up-1414938-Apr2014/ scroll down to the bottom. "Pure Irish juice from the famous province of Leinster, where he did not play much, Mark Flanagan was a stranger to the Montois publi...

Re: TV3 secure rights to RWC2015
What a shame, we are going to miss out on HD for the games as well as missing out on a TV production team that has largely nailed it by now. (one or two exceptions aside).
ITV are the English broadcasters.

Re: Jonny Wikinsons Toulon Away
Fantastic weekend, great banter all day with the Toulon fans.
Whatever about Leinster arriving via the front / back door, we hung around to experience Toulon arriving and it is something I will never forget. Absolutely mental.
Pity about the result, but we will be back!

Re: Jonny Wikinsons Toulon Away
Squad update. After being rested on Monday, Brian O'Driscoll, Eoin Reddan and Gordon D'Arcy all took full part in today's training session in UCD. There was also a return to training for Dave Kearney, who has recovered from a knock, and Rhys Ruddock who was carrying a calf injury. Other players not...

That's the one! Interesting to see that Ian Botham's son was playing on the right wing. Pat Lam starting 8 too.John23 wrote:This is the one I recall:

Re: Point of information/argument settler.
I seem to recall a while back Newcastle playing Leinster in the HEC in Donnybrook on a Friday night. If memory serves Jonny had a stinker that night. http://www.ercrugby.com/matchcentre/17144.php (only because I remember having to Google for this exact answer in a separate bet decider a couple of y...

Re: Leinster vs Munster March 29th
I think he means the Toulouse semi in the Aviva where we were expected to be sent packing. I thought we were narrow favourites going into that game given that people were tipping us to win the competition outright that season. That's how I remember it too. And also feeling very deflated after the f...

Re: Nice HQ?
With 2,500 travelling I can only assume a good few people are staying in Nice and are possibly taking a few extra days. Is there anywhere central in Nice that might be adopted as a Leinster HQ for the weekend? This rings especially true for celebrations post victory on Sunday night  . The las...

Re: Pro12 General Discussion
I fought it for years, but the league is undoubtedly a joke now, I'm sad to say. The Welsh incompetence has made it so. Imagine they were as competitive as the Irish in the league and Europe? (and there's no reason they shouldn't be), given the quality of players in both national teams, it would be...

Re: Organised Sunbathing aka Cricket
Really good performance from the lads so far. Any hurdle the ICC put up in our way we smash through. This pre-lim stage was designed to allow Zim and Bangla to progress to the Super 10 and stop any associates turning up and ruining their fun. Best of luck to them tomorrow! Hmm, you were partly righ...

Re: France v Ireland
Surprised so many (English) journos like Rob Kitson are making such a big deal of the kick off times. Their argument seems to be that Ireland will know exactly what they have to do when their game starts. But with a 59 point head start, the point seems a bit redundant. There are other (remote) poss...
