Re: Leinster @ Ulster, Sat 27 Apr 17:15 KO

Ferg cited. Stupidity personified from him. He's nailed on to get a ban that will rule him out for the season, and we could really have done with him as an option with Byrne and Daly likely out too. Ferg out of contract too this summer. If he doesn't get an extension he might have played his last g...

Re: Leinster @ Ulster, Sat 27 Apr 17:15 KO

Pretty clear on the huge screens. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk No it wasn't. It wasn't clear on tv but it looked like Ferg made contact with his head. Could easily have been a red. Lucky boy, very unlike Ferg. If there is a better camera angle, I would be surprised if Ferg wasn't cited. It l...

Jack McGrath to Ulster? https://m.independent.ie/sport/rugby/leinster-rugby/mcgrath-in-line-to-join-exodus-to-ulster-37859685.html “while Leinster also have a host of ex-players on the books of Connacht and Munster.” I guesss Cronin qualifies as both. Another professional contract not worth the pap...

Re: Rumour Mill

Assume just like Zebo, he will now be immediately dropped from the Irish squad? Yes, from what I’ve been told, Saturday is likely to be his last game for Ireland. Which is part of the reason he is starting ahead of VdF I'm sorry but whoever told you that is talking rubbish. SOB is contracted till "...

Re: Scarlets at home, 25/01 7.35pm

Good god Rob Kearney is shocking as last man tackler. Twice he has tackled fresh air. If he does that next week then it's a 7 pointer at least. Rob Kearney has never been a very good defender. It's always been the weakest part of his game but he has been utterly shocking tonight. I've counted three...

Re: Leinster V Bath Sat 15th Dec 17.30 BT Sport

Just been rewatching last Saturday's match and must make an observation in praise of Ross Byrne, who could well be starting at ten at the weekend. He was barely on the pitch, when Dev Toner dislodged the ball, thereby cutting short a Bath attack only a couple of metres from our line, and passed to ...

Re: Leinster - Joe Schmidt's legacy.

Loved Joe when he was in charge of Leinster but the Carbery affair left a bad taste. Carbery was saying in interviews as late as February that he saw no need for him to leave Leinster to develop as a 10. Come April, Joe sticks his nose in and the rest is history. The day the Carbery move was confirm...

Re: Toulouse vs Leinster

To be fair to Tomane (and I've mentioned him two or three times myself), there were loads of mistakes in that game, wasn't his fault we lost. If Luke didn't throw that intercept we probably wouldn't be talking about him all that much. Tomane comes across as a really good fella who wanted to come to...

This is the new reality now I'm afraid.

I think Hugh O'Sullivan is more highly thought of in Leinster and deemed the better prospect.

Re: Munster in the Aviva 2018 Edition

Des Berry confirms its Ross Byrne to start. If Des Berry is reporting something regarding Leinster, take it as gospel! Speculation that Carberry may not start for Munster - "managing minutes" - but would be surprised if he didn't. If he does start or come on, I hope Joey gets a good reception from ...

Re: Connacht Away Sept 29th 5.15

Jack Conan was back to his best too after a fairly quiet game last week. 46 metres on 11 carries, 1 clean break, 2 defenders beaten and 17 tackles with one missed. Hope he can bring that performance into Europe, we'll need it against Carr and Hughes. Conan was much better against Connacht. Far busi...

Re: Leinster v Embra RDS Sat 7.35 Eir/Premier

Any thoughts on Jack Conan's form?

Conan played the full 80 mins, made 6 tackles and missed 3.

James Ryan played 20 mins, made 8 tackles and missed 0.

Maybe Conan is getting his match fitness back or a little rusty but he definitely needs to work harder for the team.

we'll be OK once that poisonous dwarf / whingeing beeeeotch EOS doesn't start a campaign "for the good of Irish Rugby" Eddie O'Sullivan - The most humourless man in Irish rugby. Neil Francis

Anybody know if Neil Francis has given up his media gigs?

He hasn't had a column in INM this season, at least not online. Don't buy INM papers so not sure if he has had columns in the paper itself.

He hasn't been on The Last Word this season yet either.

Has he been cut loose I wonder?

That was awful on Lowe, how can the TMO not step in there? The view of it was so clear. Nagle must have used my post as motivation  He's been excellent, hope he keeps it up. Josh Murphy having a bit of a mare IMO. He's a bit of a flight risk for a red, keeps doing dodgy stuff, nothing too bad ...
