He was wearing a hurling glove/ash guard type thing. Is this a new injury?

Re: Ireland v All Blacks

“It’s as bad as it looks,” declared Tom McGurk, sounding Hook-ish, “does it need radical changes?” he asked Ronan, his query a little briefer than Brent’s. “No it doesn’t, I think that’s a complete overreaction, you’re missing the point completely,” said our ROG You're not alone. Joe was never goin...

Re: Ireland Launch Official Bid for RWC 2023 Today

Murrayfield wasn't considered for the 2015 WC as it's never had successful numbers in '91 and '99. Scotland internationals will get decent attendances for big oppo such as NZ, SA, Aus, Ireland and England, the latter two because there's plenty Irish and English in Edinburgh and rivalry. Wales and Fr...

Re: Ireland v Australia AI 2013

quick question, anybody any idea if block 526 West Upper is a good spot to be watching the game............ Far as I remember that's quite near halfway line. Should be good provided you're not too far back... http://www.avivastadium.ie/images/getting-here/aviva-stadium-concert-seating-map.jpg?sfvrs...

Re: Ireland v Australia AI 2013

No team announced yet but Conor George has still managed to lose his sh!t about it... "It's difficult not to wonder if Joe Schmidt is having a laugh with his selection v Australia. Jokeshop!" Well that honeymoon didn't last long! ;-) Where's that after appearing? Would sort of think that ...

Re: Ireland v Australia AI 2013

I have to say, I'd have an on form Earls straight into the Irish team on the wing. Bowe is a given and the only guy I'd have possibly ahead of him is a fit and in form Fitzgerald but, at this point, it's hard to say if we'll ever see that on a sustained basis. Zebo has bags of natural talent but he...

Re: Conor George

If he feels aggrieved and believes he has a genuine argument against any selections, why doesn't he vent is frustration in a clear and effective manner via an article rather than doing something like this? He clearly has a bias issue (he biased towards Munster, and against Joe's perceived bias towar...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...

Not wanting to defend the British press in this whole debacle but I'm not sure if the Times or Indo (Irish) have written about it either to be fair. There's a good chance there all waiting for something official before printing anything. The source comes from Midi Olympique and it has been repeated ...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...

Mauuray Kinsella's written a bit in the score.. http://thescore.thejournal.ie/ffr-heineken-cup-2-million-1170241-Nov2013/ Kind of wondering why they (the FFR) invited the English clubs representatives? Yeah, that's an odd one alright. It's all still speculation though so we'll have to wait for anot...

Re: Autumn Internationals 2013

Will that change when Darcy and BOD finish? For the last couple of years we have had 2 Nr 6's and an 8 (who played the jackal), before this we had 3 Nr 6's in the back row. I don't think SOB is going back to 6 again, so I think we're looking into a period of more defined roles. 7- Link man, excavat...

That doesn't answer the question - how many games has he played at 15 - he may have been a full back, but is not essentially a winger now - bit like McFadden - coming thing fo ryears at centre - pretty much out and out winger now though Didn't he start the first two games of the season at fullback ...
