Re: APRC - American Professional Rugby Competition

Hope it works out for them. Spending time over there over ten years ago on a J1 and J2 a number of Americans I spoke were aware of and interested in Rugby. They couldn't get over the lack of proctection players had. Soccer got a different sort of reaction. Talk a few years back of the All Blacks and...

Re: RDS bar prices

Walked by the pubs in Ballsbridge more than an hour before the match and thought to go to the supporters bar instead. When seeing that I pay more for a pint in the outside bar, in cold surroundings, no seating and out of a fairly pathetic plastic glass I know I won't be walking past the pubs again t...

E-mail received saying no joy for the English match. Seven times over subscribed so can't have too many complaints. Nothing received for the French match yet. Fingers crossed.

Re: Autumn Internationals (everyone else)

Did I hear Conor O'Shea right in that Argentina are resting their better players for us?

Their replacements aren't doing too bad against France at the mo. (France 3 - 13 Argentina)

Travel Insurance.

"So you weren't in the car that caused your 40 minute journey to be a 3 and half hour traffic jam to the airport? Sorry you're not covered. You had to be in the car that broke down and that next day expensive Ryanair flight and hotel accomodation is out of your pocket" :x

Re: Leinster v Exeter

Bonus point victory for Clermont beating Scarlets 49 - 16. Advantage Clermont. All to do now for Leinster. Fear with a low scoring match today and no trys that there'll only be one team coming out of this group. Fair balls to Exeter to win against Quins last week and then come to us leaving with an ...

Re: New Aviva Premiership TV Deal

If someone eye gouges you its understandable that you would lose it. Hopefully the eye gouge is proven beyond doubt and a lengthy (eg a season) ban is given. Whatever about punching Hazel has to get a few match bans for the knee even if provoked by the eye gouge.

Citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are British by right. They may also actively claim Irish citizenship. Those of us who consider ourselves British and Irish do so in the same way as, for example, others consider themselves Scottish and British. Being British doesn...

Looks like Premier Ship Rugby don't have the support of the French Clubs: French clubs have no intention of quitting the European Cup and Challenge competitions and playing in an alternative tournament just with English clubs, the vice-president of the French National Rugby League (LNR) told AFP on ...

Wonder if Noel Mannion knew he was going to be shown to four billion or so people tonight.
