Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020
Coming pretty close to a joker at outhalf. A bit close to the HC to do anything though. Tyler is there and Scannell is a good option. After that it's Healy or moving Cronin. They were probably going for a 6-2 bench anyway so no biggie for now. Leinster have been down Frawley and Sexton for most of ...

Re: Rumours - premiership
Nigel clears things up. "Just to clarify, there's no obligation whatsoever to get rid of any players," said Wray. "The academy is, in a way, a jewel in our crown and has been greatly responsible for half the England side that got to the World Cup final, and seven of those have been w...

Rob Baxter would quite like a couple of more titles, but what I'd like to know is if he has a sideline in hoover repairs?

Re: LPT - Gouging - Special Rant
Is that just for the well heeled, cosseted and serviced people of Dublin or will it also affect those us with our own water supply, septic tank and no public transport?

Re: Rugby for sale?
You'd kind of see Hansen's point if the Northern hemisphere was winning all the World Cups.
But now, let me see...we've had eight World Cups completed so far and the Northern hemisphere has won exactly... one.

Re: Thanks Joe
Joe's been marvellous for Irish rugby, plus he's not that old.
Maybe we'll see him return one day in some capacity at either provincial
or national level?
Meanwhile, the king is dead. Long live the King!

Re: Ireland 6Ns 2020
I'd say there are other schools like that dotted around the country, serving areas with a big interest in rugby and potential sources of players if given some support. Someone else was pointing out that if we're ever to have the ball handling skills of the the New Zealanders, we need to be focusing...

Re: Ireland 6Ns 2020
G. Cummiskey also suggests a greater focus on pillaging GAA talent. Players in the local rugby clubs up and down the country might be an easier pool of untapped talent to prioritise. So few make it that it's almost like kids who join Naas RFC or wherever are by definition less talented than the aver...

About that suggested 2023 team
Leinster 13
Munster 1
Ulster 1
Connacht 0
Do we believe Leinster are realistic World Cup contenders?

Re: Rugby on the Box
It's getting a bit ridiculous now with the constant changes to which broadcaster is showing games and what package or hardware you need to access them. The only option for Eir customers with Sky to access Eir Sport 2 seems to be through the Eir Sport app and either watch on a mobile device or cast ...

England just maybe getting a little carried away with themselves bringing on their kids at the end like they'd won the WC?
