Re: Rumour Mill
If Connacht are being allowed to sign yet another quality NIQ (and clearly getting the funds from the central pot), it would be pretty rich for the IRFU to not let us sign a player in a position of need. Connacht will have 5 Non-irish players on their books next season, 2 NIE (George and Boshoff) a...

Re: Connacht Rugby 2015 / 2016
Is it Tyler at Munster who is preventing Leinster signing a NIQ/NIE out half for next season?

Re: Connacht Rugby 2015 / 2016
Connacht are already operating under different parametres than other Provinces, particularly Leinster. Reports in Leinster from Professional Committee indicate they are getting nowhere with IRFU re NIQ recruitment for next season. Ulster & Connacht seem to have an open door - Ulster because the...

94% Kicking Rate Last Season!
Harsh on AJ who I think arguably earned himself a contract extension with his performances lately
But it's ruthless at the top

Browne signs 2 year deal
John Cooney and Ben Marshall each sign 1 Year Contract extension
Apparently Heenan has u-turned and is staying put in Connacht - shall wait until I see official word before I celebrate though

Re: Connacht Rugby 2015 / 2016
After rewatching the Sam Davies disallowed try, TMO and Clancy actually made right call. Marmion had hold of him when his knee hit the deck so Davies had to release the ball.. There's absolutely no way Clancy would have blown for a penalty if that tackle happened anywhere else on the pitch. I agree...

Re: Connacht Rugby 2015 / 2016
Those type of decisions never used to go to Connacht, feel for Ospreys have felt the pain of TMO wrong calls
Our defence is worryingly non existent at times but jaysus it's great craic!! Healy, Niyi and Bundee were all very good - thought Qualter had good game when he came on aswell

Re: Connacht Rugby 2015 / 2016
Henshaw, Muldowney and Ah You are big losses to take. Ah You is covered though and young O'Donnell is coming through also. I'm not sure Heenan is much of a loss from a playing perspective. He has been injured most of the time he has been there and they've 2 other good 7s to replace him. Connacht sh...

Hopefully Eoghan Masterson injury isn't as bad as it looked When you are hoping he is only out for the season you know it was a bad one.. Connacht top of the league unless Ulster BP Scarlets tomorrow Home to international-less Ospreys next week so they should hang on to it Connacht have now equalled...
