Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2
Will Conners starting this weekend. VDF on the bench Unusual for the team to be picked so early in the week… In terms of the discussion around selection at open side, it’s a funny one. Connor’s has been third choice 7 for most of the season. I really like him as a player but wouldn’t start him. To ...

I also logged on at 14:00 and couldn’t get South Prem. Leinster have to do better than this off the pitch

O’Connor, Tracy and the rest of them will be love bombing him; sordid stuff from the fickle pr1cksSaoPaulo41 wrote: ↑April 6th, 2024, 10:08 pm If we loose next weekend, I can see us then not winning urc. LAR have us mentally fecked.

You’re 1000% correct. Bad captaincy by Doris. This is knock out rugby; take the points to go three scores aheadBigdickenergy wrote: ↑April 6th, 2024, 9:30 pm Little bit of arrogance from Leinster to turn down 3 right in front of the sticks just before Conan drops it over the line. Really disappointed with that. I’ll watch it back when I get home but we looked slow and disjointed. We played like a badly coached team. Both attack and defence lacked coordination. Era defining match next week, I hope there is a serious improvement

Re: Leinster v Leicester - Sat 6 April, 20.00 RTE2
Feels like we’ve played these guys a lot. I find their style really limited and boring. They haven’t really caused us many problems and I don’t expect that to change this weekend. I’d like to see the following side: Keenan, Larmour, Ringrose, Osborne, Lowe, Harry, JGP, Doris, VdF, Baird, JJ, Joe McC...

Re: Rumour Mill
I think it’s fairly shoddy journalism to use throwaway remarks like that; completely unsubstantiated, no source and not even bothering to say where he’s been linked with a move to. I don’t take it seriously and don’t think it makes sense. I know the Indo is a bit of a joke but surely they have some ...

Kritzinger actually hasn’t been confirmed yet. Gonna wait till after the JWC. Berman and De Klerk off to Ulster. Ruben Moloney, Oliver Coffey, Usanov, Spicer and McLaughlin have been offered contracts so far. I would have offered to at least two of the three centres. Appreciate slots are highly con...

U-18's just got absolutely walloped by France 50-7 .... Whatever Neil Doak seems to be doing with them isn't working based on that scoreline. France looked like a team who have spent a lot of time together and we didn't - which may actually be a true reflection of reality - these guys have hardly b...

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm
Reflecting on last night, it was really impressive. The defensive line speed and coordination looks to be reaching the magic 14 weeks point. Even more impressive was the transition to attack. The game plan seemed less about multi phase and more about attacking space, particularly on the blind side. ...

I don't have any agenda against any player. I have an agenda against poor play and tackles that could give players brain damage. Just because he was wearing blue doesn't make it acceptable.

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm
There are a few posters here with ‘anti-Luke’ agendas, that don’t merit engagement’s. He has more heart and balls than all of them combined. Tackle was high and a clear yellow but from a Leinster perspective, his fight and work-rate are inspiring and set the standard for a best in class organisatio...

Yeah, he seems to have that edge about him that makes him a top tier front row option. If he can scrummage at the top level it’s going to be fantastic

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm
Two strong sides named, although we look a bit stretched in the 3/4s, particularly when you look at the gas of Williams, Moodie, KLA and LeRoux. The back rows look evenly matched so I think it’s the half backs who will have to win it for us by controlling field position and tempo. Fascinating match ...

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm
Surprised to see Harry ahead of Ross.
Ringer a potentially worrying omission.
Great opportunity for Harry, Russell and Osborne. The loss of Ngatai and T O’Brien along with Keenan and J O’Briens absence, leaves us a bit bare in the 3/4s

Re: Leinster Academy 23-24
Players find out about academy contracts this Friday. Wilhelm De Klerk rumoured to have already accepted deal at Ulster. I like de Klerk, would have liked to see him at Leinster. Not sure that Ulster is any better of a landing spot for him with Hume and Postlethwaite at No13. the pull of richie mur...
