Re: Connacht 2018-19
Connacht going to announce three new signings sometime this week. Two IQ and 1 NIQ. Friend has being talking about a power game citing the lack of a player who can give them go forward ball such as Coetzee at Ulster or Stander at Munster so would expect a bulldozer to be a signing.

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19
by ronk It’s odd that Wales were good with a very, very stable coaching team but none of the assistants outside Edwards are rated. And they look like they are getting demotions after winning another slam. That says more about the WRU than the coaches methinks. Also there is a rumour going around th...

Re: Connacht 2018-19
by wixfjord » April 25th, 2019, 8:35 am Jager would be a big surprise too though surely? He's seemingly well rated and getting Super Rugby game time and has been down there for 6 years now. He'd be a brilliant coup though, would add more potential depth at TH for Ireland as well. That's the thinkin...

Re: Leinster Squad 19-20
i'd imagine Healy will be off the central contracts and moved to a provisional next season. With McGrath gone the IRFU owe us one so just pay the man what he's owed so we can get on with winning trophiesCian Healy(31) - Signed central 3yr contract in 2016

by betty swallocks » April 24th, 2019, 3:15 pm Oli Jager perhaps? Or could be Vakh or Benty but unlikely with both Andrew and Tadhg down to go to the WC. Jager makes the most sense. Would be a big surprise if the other two moved. That said last time they got Robertson - McCoy who was on no ones rad...

Re: Leinster Squad 19-20
Sorry to see Noel go. I have to admit I wasn't a huge fan but he's won me over this season with his ability. Leicester have got a good player. I hope he has a lot success there.

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19
Munster are 'rumoured to be in the market for a marquee backline signing.' Also Van Graan might be in the market for some 'short term signings'. You know some lad they can bring over on a 3 month contract and then extend for 2 years. https://www.the42.ie/munster-signings-short-term-squad-4602070-Apr...

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19
If I remember at the time he was disliked by a large segment of Munster Supporters who made it known on the forums. The dude got fall guyed a lot. Seemingly his biggest sin at the time was that he wasn't Axel Foley but I doubt he'd want to go back again.by Ruckedtobits

How do people rate this guy? If he's stayed that long in the Welsh job then he's obviously highly thought of. Seems like an excellent appointment if trueWales forwards coach Robin McBryde

Re: Connacht 2018-19
Rumour is that Cannon is retiring but hasn't being announced yet. McCabe is a surprise. As for Ronaldson he's a great player but super injury prone and a team like Connacht can't afford to keep an injured player on the books all the time.
Pretty shocked he let O'Donnell, Connelly, and Claffey go.

Craig Ronaldson, James Mitchell, James Connolly, Conán O’Donnell, Peter McCabe, Peter Claffey and James Cannon are all leaving Connacht. With Conor McKeon and Eoin Griffin retiring. Re: Connacht 2018-19
All three signings make sense. Lloyd and Daly are needed for cover Marmion and Aki off to the RWC. Kelleher is leaving so Fitzgerald is a straight swop. If Connacht could find themselves a back-up 10 they'd be dancing.

Ronan O'Mahoney retires. I can't beleive this guy is 29!?! I still think of him a year or so out of the academy.
