Re: Power Outage in Croke Park
WEll actually I'm no kid and I have no idea who Nally was either. I know about the others the rest of the ground was named after but him or her named Nally was passed over in my history class. Paddy Nally - GAA Founder. if he founded the bloody thing u think they would have given him a better stand!

Here's another 5 caps Simon
Well he was lining up on the right wing this morning!!!I do not see Andrew Trimble as a left wing in any way, shape or form but merely a stop-gap for now. - Tony Ward

Re: Irish Team Vs Italy
i think MOD lacks the cutting edge required at that level. I personally think Leo Cullen was ready to step up to the mark after a series of excellent displays in terms of play AND leadership, something Ireland need badly in the pack with POC out of the equation.

by the by... Jackman was throwing lineouts into the sub/panel forwards and hitting them every time (in the pissing rain). Best missed two or three in the time I was there.

Re: Talks for Magners League shake-up
perhaps the Italians should enforce the same rule as NZ and Australia do but unless the two super teams have the finnancial backing to match the French/British salaries that would lead to the dilution of the Italian player pool.

Irish Team Vs Italy
Just back from belfield watching the Irish rugby team run through organizational stuff... This is the team that were starting and I presume will be starting Vs Italy on Saturday. Its bad news for leinster forward supporters. 1. Horan 2. Best (shocking decision) 3. Hayes 4. O'Callaghan 5. O'Kelly 6. ...

Re: BO'D Bashing
i think the bodster would play as many games for leinster as he could given the chance... On what do you base that? I find it hard to believe that a man who has played for the province since he was 18/19 and captained it for the last 2/3 seasons would not have developed some loyalty and dedication ...

Re: Expect the unexpected - Ireland can show their true quality
this reminds me of the build up to every match during the world cup... somehow by kick-off I had forgotten just how awful we had been the week before and was looking forward to the Ireland of old... but it never occurred then, and with the lack of personnel change EOS hasnt brought in, i cant see it...

Re: Talks for Magners League shake-up
But, under the new proposal, opposed by the Scots, only the top seven finishers would qualify for Europe Brilliant idea I think... Would really give the third and fourth best sides in each country an impetus to put in big performances week in week out to secure their future. This in turn would push...

Re: BO'D Bashing
i think the bodster would play as many games for leinster as he could given the chance... its not his fault that there are structures in place for the best players in our country to prevent them from burning out! If he had played 45 games a year for the last 8 years he'd have to retire by now! Hes t...
