Seemingly bookmakers have Saracens favorites by 1 point.
Cant see it being a 1 point game - I think it looks like either team could unlock the other. Big win - but for who?

Re: The Final, Saracens in Newcastle, May 11th. Drive for Fi
After looking at that clip from last year, the player we need more than anyone else is leavy. Such a shame a player with thst much ability won't be on show. Exactly the type of player we need against a team like sarries. Yeah that's been on my mind since before the semi-final even. I've been yellin...

One thing to stand back and consider is, as both teams are currently billed as the best in Europe, that both have Irish coaches.
Maybe a bit too jingoistic, but good to see our former international players making it coaching at the highest club level.

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19
You'd imagine there's lots of coaches that are now letting everybody know that they're staying put!
A Munster coaching job cant be that much fun. There are lots of other clubs offering high level experience, but with much better ratio of squad depth & quality Vs toxic levels of expectation.

Discounting Munster's blip in the QF, because that's all it was - we have 2 bloody hard games ahead. We will be battered and bruised after Saracens - expect the Munster game to be a week too soon for a lot of lads! Regardless of the outcome of the HCup, Munster will be primed to catch us out. Everyt...

In the week before the game Shane Jennings took the Croke Park tour - during which he was asked did he manage to get a ticket for the game

He may not have grounded the ball - but what he did to get over the line in the first place was sensational.
Ball slipped out of his hand, that's life lads. Nobody's bashing Cooney over missing his sitter either.

Re: Can Leinster be competitive in the coming seasons?
We have to get used to this new cycle. Develop a squad full of skill, experience and depth - get success, then get stripped - start again. It hurts, but some of it is for the good of Ireland, and some the natural result of too many top players for too few starting places. We just have to figure out ...

Re: Wales v Ireland 2019 6N (The Match)
So much to discuss about the game and full 6ns - but still too scarred from the game almost a week on! Wales were very good, they took a really good start / lead and then just had to hold their nerve, which is no mean feat with the Grand Slam up for grabs. They defended like demons and managed to ex...

I still don't think SA would have won in 2007, nor NZ in 2011 with Ian Keatley at outhalf, just a suspicion I have.

Re: Ireland v. France Sun 10 March 15.00
Not a bad idea. Someone on the Virgin panel made the point that there weren't many blatantly cynical offences which maybe made it difficult for the ref to give a card earlier than he did. He was weak and I can think of a couple of obvious ones but I can see what the panel meant by that. They could ...

Re: Ireland v. France Sun 10 March 15.00
Shouldn't that scrum have been reset though? Sorry, don't mean to be pedantic because I know that's just one example and it was still an error. The ref played a big part as well, particularly with the number of times French players dived in over the ball. Not saying we were perfect, but think the c...
