Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...
Just wondering who, if any, are the clubs that have approached the PRL as per McCafferty's claims? Part of me thinks that this is typical of McCafferty (and low level "negotiation"...although Flash would think its great). But just thinking who would be in the position to do so? Only "...

Re: 4 Nations Championship
In fairness it looks like the lions series has totally drained the aussies physically and mentally. It's hard to see them winning another game in this tournament this season. Boks looking good though, some skills to go with their power game, they will be a real handful for anyone including the AB's...

Re: New arrival
Haven't been here in an age but have to comment on Tuquiri - don't think Leinster or any province for that matter should be allowed these kind of short term foreign signings - no problem signing NIQ players, but do it properly - its hard enough to give young players a break - if you need to fill a ...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...
theyd add them to an expanded prem Premiership previously tried to take over the Ba Bas; wanted to not release players for them but form a new invitational side called the Aviva Premiership Barbarians who would replace them, but hey that was so not about money and have Prem not noticed we can troun...

Pity about Roux being injured - god I hope its just a niggle. Its a pretty strong one all the same. I'm pretty happy about that team.

Re: Italy in the Pro-12
Why should RTE be annoyed?... Aimed at me, I presume, so I'll answer.. Mainly because however half-assed (in your opinion) effort they did put in to the lageue coverage, it was mainly on terms that suited them, and terms they had a large say in. Sky changes all that. It'll almost definitely increas...

Re: Scarlets v. Leinster
I just checked the broadcast schedule on the Pro12 site, and all Leinster games currently with confirmed times have either RTE or TG4 in the TV coverage part, except for this week - even the one on at the same time as the Ire v NZ game, which says " Mediase t/TG4"!! So pretty good really ...

Re: Italy in the Pro-12
Back to my main point though.. I'd broadly agree with it, their use pundits who are either wilfully ignorant of the league or the laws of the game, or those who are professionally compromised is extremely annoying. On the other hand, they have been steadily improving with the use of O'Shea and Horg...

Re: Italy in the Pro-12
Why should RTE be annoyed?... They haven't supported the league form the start...they snubbed the rights which went to TG4 firstly and then Setanta took them (producing a far better product as well). RTE have had shared rights for the last number of years and publically demmean & sometimes ridi...

Re: Puma End Ireland deal
http://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/irfu-in-new-20m-kit-deal-29542666.html Indo reporting a deal with CCC may be imminent, shame we're stuck with possibly he worst kit ever worn by an Irish side for this season but at least it looks like the cr@p is getting replaced by decent clobber, can't remem...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...
No-one has said that McCaferty is telling lies................yet, so I will reserve judgement. On a rugby note, there's not going to be many away supporters at these games is there? Fair old trek for a rugby match isn't it?? Not going to be cheap flying a whole team plus coaches and management to ...

Re: Madigan contract extension
Good to see but you would have to say it was also expected. A lot of the wum's on Munsterfans think he's over hyped. I think this season could be a great one for him. I seem to remember that a lot of Munster Wum's said sexton was over hyped also, dont play say everthing in Leinster is over hyped. B...

Re: Expectations 2013/14
Really low expectations in the above posts. We are Leinster, in the last 3 seasons we have competed in 6 tournaments, reached 6 finals and won 4 of them. Ours is a team full of players who are winners. We have a new coach who is coming from an environment where winning is expected. I'll be disappoi...

Re: Expectations 2013/14
What are peoples expectations for the 13/14 season With a new manager, ageing backline, loss of key players, less depth than previous years, and a tough group of Castres, Leinster, Northampton, Ospreys, it is hard to say what would be a reasonable season. I have broken it down as below 1. Lose no h...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...
If the French and the rabo sides can make a deal, the PRL are stuck on their own and will either miss out all together or eat humble pie. Frankly this NFL nonsense is just making him look more stupid Presumably PRL will have already instructed the yanks that they are now to refer to football as rug...
