Re: The Celtic Tiger is over Paul McCartney !!!!

The scary thing is people are willing and seemingly happy to pay that kind of crazy money still, otherwise they wouldn't be charging it.

I guess I'll hold off until I see it on someone...but it's not exactly rivalling the Nike Toulouse gear someone...

Re: London Irish - flights to Gatwick very reasonable atm

Yeah, she said it only takes an hour by train, she went to the Irish V Scartlets game last weekend. Still have to do all my sums though, at this stage it's kind of a toss up between Connacht on the 2nd of January and this game.

Re: New iMac with magic mouse

Have the 21.5 iMac. The 27inch is a monster, but would love one! I'll have to hold out for the lotto! Yeah, have been lusting after one of those. Just got a MacbookPro though, so it'll have to be put on the Christmas list next year instead. The scrollball on my MightyMouse broke very shortly after w...

Re: London Irish - flights to Gatwick very reasonable atm

I'm so very tempted to go to this game.

Thanks for the very helpful travel info, Hornet.

Have a friend living in Bath, so might be able to get my accommodation for nothing.

The scrollball on my MightyMouse broke very shortly after we got it (it'll scroll left and right, but not up and down!), so that was annoying. The Magic Mouse lo...

Re: Magners League to RTÉ/TG4

If it is to go from Setanta it will be a disaster. Their coverage has been superb and I seriously doubt the two stations mentioned have any interest in covering it as comprehensively as Setanta have done.

However, I think of the 2, TG4 might give it more respect than RTE.

Congrats to the Leinster ladies, who got this year's Interpro series off to a cracking start, with a 33 - 8 win over Connacht in Donnybrook.

Re: Leinster Apparel - What you would like to see!

maybe they really are listening. Just received this tweet from Leinster Rugby Store. "Updates on the Ladies Clothing Range coming soon. Polos on the way, cotton Jersey and Full Zip Fleece to follow. Polos coming in 2 colours." That's good to hear. I do try to wear my Leinster gear as ofte...

Re: Rep of Ireland v Montenegro

I couldn't bring myself to watch it. I just haven't been able to properly watch soccer lately. At least in a lot of low scoring rugby games there's still a bit of action, but with football, more often than not, it's a snoozefest. The way Ireland play too, they're much happier without the football, w...

Re: New Leinster jersey

Yeah, really like the new Cardiff Blues jersey.

Not that fond of the new Leinster one. I also don't like the fact that the ladies fit one is made of the same stretchy/lycra material. Will stick with the few older ones I own.

I'd be tempted to dress up, if I thought I'd be in the majority.

Will see how the costume works the night before and play it by ear :)

Re: BOO

I was in block A of the Anglesea Stand and I was so disappointed with how quiet it was there! I got a few dirty looks when cheering. The only time there was significant noise there was a) when one of our players made a rare break and b) at the end when the booing (mentioned above) commenced. I'd rat...

Yeah, I don't see BOD and Geordan Murphy being able for 7s rugby by 2016.

Would love to actually see an Irish team try and challenge for a medal in this.
