paddyor wrote: April 13th, 2024, 11:40 pm So the big question from that game is stick or twist on Osborne/ringer?
I think you have to stick, no offence to Ringer but I can't see a reason to drop Osborne. He was great again today and has now become another kicking option when we're under pressure.

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

Match Preview Once more unto the breach, dear friends! For the fourth season running Leinster will meet La Rochelle in the knock-out stages of the Champions Cup. And it's fair to say Leinster have had their fill of La Rochelle at this stage. There have been three heart-breaking defeats, with each o...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

From Matt Williams in the Times: "While it is part of Leinster’s culture to not publicly talk about their passion, unlike Munster and La Rochelle, it is a very foolish team that deceives themselves into believing that their passion is superior to Leinster’s. A trap that many Munster teams of t...

Re: A whiff of Cordite

The BBC Rugby Union Weekly and the Rugby Pod are there if you need a rugby pod fix sans the LAR lovefest, granted from a Premiership perspective. Note worthy that Chris Ashton felt Leinster have a tendency to lose their way at times in games and top teams like LAR may be able to capitalise on this....

Leinster expect physical Tigers to maul hard

That's a pretty poor effort of an article, Pollard also started the 2023 RWC final and Conan didn't come off the bench last week.

Cracking try. We have to win by playing good rugby. VdF seatbelt tackled into the post. Play on. Should have restarted with a penalty. But high tackles on Leinster players are okay tonight it seems. Also: don’t compete in the air. A Bulls player will always be interfering with your arm. Not worth i...

He said now we all have to go back to watching Leinster mess up at the final hurdle like usual. At least thats what all the provinces other supporters want to see. I’m sure it was tongue in cheek but still….. cheap shot :D As opposed to Ulster being knocked out before they have the opportunity to w...

Re: England v Ireland Saturday 9th March 2024 4.45pmTwickenham

I'm so confused with the logic in our end game management. It seems in the modern game the preferred option is to kick the ball away and defend your position when leading even by the minimum. I find this approach to be one of the most frustrating tactics around and feel that on the weekend it cost ...

I'll be in city centre on Sat evening (Dublin). Can anyone recommend a good place to watch the game, from experience? I nearly always watch at home. Slattery's on Capel Street used to be. Ah thanks OS but I'll be around Stephens Green area and need to be somewhere straight after the game so Capel S...

As an aside question re James Lowe, does anyone know if he is officially linked to Clondalkin RFC? I was under the impression he was. If so it’s a bit much to exclude them from the listing just because they are still a junior club. Yeah, I thought the same. He definitely signed for them when he fir...

There was a suggestion on a podcast - which I think is a good one - that Leinster sign *Thornbury from Connacht*. His contract is up at the EOTS and he's a Leinster man.
