Re: Leinster vs Edinburgh, Friday 15th April

I wasn't sure if I was going to make this match tomorrow and this farce has made up my mind not to bother. If it's on Sky I'll watch it, if on TG4 I'll check twitter now and then for updates. If the IRFU are pulling stunts like this on the run in to the league then I don't see why I as a paying fan ...

Re: Cardiff v Leinster

If McFaddens was a yellow then Patchel should have got one too be catching McFadden high in his try saving tackle not a minute earlier. I was watching a recording of the match, once Fitzgibbon gave that yellow I just fast forwarded most of the match as it was clear he was going to ruin the match

It was nice seeing Fitzgibbon literally jump for joy as he awarded that Cardiff try!!

Re: Season Ticket 2016/17

Fairly sure last year was the last year of it, think they gave some discount last year if you had previously paid by cheque but were now having to pay the ticketmaster fee. But from this year there was to be no way to avoid ticketmaster fee.

Re: Ireland v Wales 6Ns 2016

Other players have been far far more guilty of clangesr which actually cost the team Zebo was awol for the kick behind Trimble which led to the Welsh scrum on our 5 metre line, which Wales then scored their try from. It was one of a litany of situational clangers he made right throughout the game. ...

Re: Rumour Mill

It's not like there isn't an offer there for him, the IRFU can't just keep making offers until he accepts. This, its all very well crying to the media and the media then campaigning against the union but who knows why negotiations have been allowed to drift on. The Union is running a professional g...

Re: Munster 2015/2016

Judging by what Alan Quinlan said on newstalk the other day I'm still convinced Marty didn't want to leave so the original article about him was just supposed to stir the IRFU into action. Quinlan said he signed a heads of agreement a couple of weeks ago so if he knows that then I would guess he wa...

Re: Big Marty off to Wasps?

Definitely Dave but these leaks seem to come more from players/agents then the Union, but maybe I'm naive in that. As LRIP said it's the running to the press looking for a reaction is whats gotten old fast. Do they really think the only way the IRFU are going to counter offer rather than let the pla...

Re: Big Marty off to Wasps?

Spin, spin and double spin. What would it be like if Marty just hadn't responded, at all, yes or no, to offer made to him, but instead GT has a story a couple of days after a deadline on the offer passed. Agents negotiating by media. "Fool me once, I'm at fault. Fool me twice, call a halt"...

Re: Big Marty off to Wasps?

Am I missing something in that article that everyone else is seeing? No-where does it say he's staying, just he may be considering a uturn. Also that article is terrible. It's basically just a lot of made up stuff masquerading as insider info. Looks like Murray might be angling for a job with the Ti...

Re: Munster 2015/2016

Clutching at straws there. The point is that Munster were intending to bring Farrell in, not the IRFU imposing him on Munster. Where did anyone actually say that Munster were bringing Farrell in? By their own admission he was merely on their radar, which is to say someone somewhere thought he might...

Re: Leinster Ticket Office

I've had mixed experiences with the ticket office. Once a good few years ago now, I replied to an email regarding tickets going on sale to say my email was missing some vital information. I was told I hadn't read the email properly and please stop wasting our time. Less then an hour later a new emai...

Re: Jonah Lomu passes away

I remember sitting in a boozer after sitting my first year college exams to watch the Ireland match in the world cup and spent most of it screaming at the tv as Irish lads just bounced off him or and made despairing efforts to pull him down. He destroyed us that day and its still my abiding memory o...

Re: Wasps at Home

Only able to watch the highlights on TG4. Never looked like creating a try and seemed to just hope they'd miss a tackle so we could sneak over the line. Seriously what was Dave doing looking around when he had a bouncing ball in wet and windy conditions. Secure the ball first and then go from there....

Re: Friday's rant

Thoughtless fuvkers who park on the footpath so I have to walk my kids out on the road on the way to school. Anyone know if there's a number to ring for this? It's not only thoughtless, it's actually a real risk to kids, I helped a mammy negotiate her double buggy plus two kids around a car in the ...

Re: NFL

The Giants are one frustrating team to follow. 7 down heading into the 4th quarter, they turn it around to be 7 up with about 3 mins on the clock. Not exactly home and hosed but a nice position to be in. We concede the TD but grand just need to close it out and go into OT with possession and about 4...

If Romania had any sort of a 10 they'd be causing France a few more problems as well. France a bit of a rabble.
