Re: Munster 2014/2015

Discipline and handling errors again. There'll probably be a bit of a comeback, but 14 points against the Ospreys will be a big ask.

Wondering the same. If Sexton isn't right for the Welsh game, Keatley will surely play instead of Madigan? Even if that's in question, I'm with you on Mad Dog needing game time!

Definitely, or just no mention of it so far? (I think it was only mentioned closer to renewal time the last few years, which is why I'm asking)

Yeah the trick now is to hold on to the new-coach-momentum until the summer. No team beats KK and Tipp on a whim, though, regardless of the time of year!

Re: Munster 2014/2015

What do the Munster fans on here think of Stringer potentially coming to Leinster? Would take him long before Tomás Ó'Leary for next year anyway. He'll have a lot for McGrath to learn from (cue a mind-numbing debate on the importance of a scrum-half's pass). Leinster and McGrath would be very fortu...

There was in me hole! I'd actually be surprised if there was half of that. Tickets sold, now there's a useless metric, but I presume that's the 15k you're referring to?

Re: Sneak Peak - RDS Redevelopment Plans

I share Cahill's concerns. The language from Leinster has been deliberately vague. I.e. not just vague.

Another thing, from that design, is the game-changer of having no roof/cover right down at the front where the proposed terrace might be. That would surely affect ST sales.

Re: European Champions Cup [Most Improved]

Change in rules: winner of challenge cup now takes their leagues playoff place for Champions Cup if not already qualified Right decision, but deeply unfair to introduce the change now. Connacht could be royally screwed over by this change (so late in the season). Surprised that Nigel didn't decide ...

Re: Kingspan Stadium to host Guinness Pro12 final

The thinking being that in order to make the final into a really big deal it needs to be at a predetermined venue. It's easier to promote the final as an event if you take this approach rather than having the usual two week timeframe to sell out the fixture. The flip-side of that is the competition...

Amen to that. Unnecessarily unfair on Glasgow and Ospreys, especially so late in the season.

Whatever the merits of the move to pre-determined location (I'm not convinced!), why change it now and, instead, announce it now for next year.

Pardoning the soup of the tongue, what else would they be focusing on? The Guinness No, I mean what else are they playing for? Is hard not to focus on the one competition you're in. Re: Munster 2014/2015

Great result for Munster but about as meaningful as a preseason game. Why start front liners who don't need game time for a nothing game? To make sure the ticket holders & buyers got value for their money, I suppose? Last thing Munster need is for HC/ECC ticket sales to drop off significantly. ...
