Very sorry to hear this, always made a huge effort in a career that showed a return of two Heineken Cups, a Challenge Cup and three PRO12 titles.

Wouldn't mind seeing him being given a tryout at the analysis table by RTE for next years 6 nations. Even if he was terrible, he'd be an improvement on Hook.

Does it have to be a hotel? You'd pick up a decent b&b or guest house for half of the price you quote above. Also the earlier you book the cheaper you may get it.

That used to be the case before the TMO and if Romain Poite is the ref, there can be so many breaks to check with the TMO that you'd have to google the word "action" to get it's meaningAdamK wrote: Rugby is pretty much 100-115 minutes of action with one break in between.

Letting Hines go still rankles. I recall us not offering a longer term deal and that's why he left, but was that IRFU driven? I know we got Brad in at the end of 11-12 season and it worked ok, but we could have gotten a couple more good years out of Hines. Agreed, after all he played on with Clermo...
