Re: A whiff of Cordite
Geoghan was indeed a luminous, alacritous beacon of hope. Plus Geoghegan's name was difficult to spell  It still is! It has about four superfluous letters. Phonetically spelling it would probably get me banned. If we are pulling posters up on misspelling names, it will be a long battle though...

He started off bound to the centre, once he was no longer bound to him he was offside and had to retreat behind the hindmost foot. He didn't, that's a penalty He switched his bind to no.6, who was the ball carrier, and who was prevented from grounding the ball by Beirne who was offside. That's a pe...

Re: 6N Ireland Wales - Dublin 2:15pm Sat 24 Feb
Does anyone have a bead on the Championship permutations? Should we beat Wales with winning BP, and Scotland beat England and both without any kind of BP, at what stage do we become uncatchable? Could we hypothetical win in Twickenham and lose to Scotland, and have a scenario where the Scots win th...

Re: Adidas Deal 2018/2023
It's a pretty average range from Castore........god I miss Canterbury stuff and the old Leinster store in Donnybrook !! What I miss most is the 'proper' hoodies - the new ones are all made from horrible light material whereas I've always loved my heavy (weight an absolute ton when they get wet) ones

Re: 6 Nations 2024
https://i.ibb.co/yF63JLb/image.png some record. Why would they use 34 games? That makes absolutely no sense unless they are trying to make the numbers look good. 34 games takes us back to the middle of the 2021 6 Nations - leaving out the first two games of that series which we lost!!! We've played...

Re: 6N: France Ireland - Marseille Fri 8pm 2 Feb 2024
Same offence twice in one half and the sentences run concurrently and they apply mitigation. World rugby's lack of seriousness on contact to the head is a ticking legal timebomb. Only a matter of time before class action suits come in and this kind of response will be hauled up of evidence that Wor...

Should be punished more for having two offenses in a game, it's an aggravating factor. Give him both bans and extra. Getting five cards in one match must be some sort of record 1) 1st yellow card 2) 2nd yellow card 3) Automatic Red card 4) 2nd yellow upgraded to red card 5) 1st yellow upgraded to red

Re: 6N: France Ireland - Marseille Fri 8pm 2 Feb 2024
I can't help thinking that an Italian player would receive a harsher punishment Same thing happened last year in the Champions Cup. In the December Toulouse v Sale game Thomas Ramos was red carded for a ‘head butt’ during the game and afterwards he was also cited for making contact with the eye are...
