Re: The Quickening 2018
The most important thing is for Leinster to take five points from the Zebre game. This will ensure that Scarlets will be under maximum pressure for their trip to Edinburgh just one week before they travel to Dublin.

At least we will not underestimate Scarlets due to last years experience.

Re: Leinster v Saracens
I'm an Ulster season ticket holder but I recorded your game today just so could watch some quality rugby. Also I support all the other provinces as long as they aren't playing us. Absolutely magnificent performance by you lads. Defended really well but played what was in front of you all the time. ...

Re: The Quickening 2018
So as things now stand Leinster may face Munster in the he semi of the Pro 14 and Scarlets in the final. While in the Euro Cup they will face Scarlets in the semi and may face Munster in the final. There may be a strong sense of deja vu in the last few weeks of the season.

Re: Leinster v Saracens
It seems there will be a full house in the Aviva stadium tomorrow. I hope the crowd will really get behind Leinster and make the atmosphere intimidating for Saracens. Unfortunately the atmosphere in the Aviva stadium tends to be very muted with fans staying in the bars right up to kick-off and disap...

Re: European Rugby Champions Cup
Well done to Munster and Scarlets for making it to the Semi Finals. Hope Leinster can make it three Pro 14 teams in the semifinals. Maybe all the many critics of the Pro14 will be silenced.

Re: Ospreys Away - Sat 24th March 2018, 7.35pm S4C
I think that the team to face Ospreys will probably be very similar to that which played Scarlets, except for the addition of Isa. The full Ireland squad will probably be celebrating all week,

Re: Leinster v Saracens
The loss of Sexton would be huge. Is there any chance that he can recover sufficiently to play in the Saracens game?

Re: The Quickening 2018
Following the draw today between Scarlets and Leinster, we are still three points ahead of Scarlets. Looking at the remaining four games it does seem that the advantage is with Leinster. I expect that Munster will beat Scarlets next game and if we can beat Ospreys we should be guaranteed top spot.

Re: Edinburgh v Leinster Myreside Friday 7:35
For sure Leinster made a lot of errors which cost us the match but let's not be too hard on the team they did come away with two points from the match.

Re: The Quickening 2018
In relation to the competition between Scarlets and Leinster to top our Conference, the advantage would seem to be with Leinster because we have one more home game and one less away game than Scarlets. Also our home games are easier than Scarlets making four try bonus points more likely.

Re: Leinster v Saracens
Same day as the Football League Finals in Croke Park. Great timing. And this will affect us how ??? Well if Dublin get to the final (they often do) there will be a large number of sports fans who may have gone to the Aviva could go to Croke Park instead. That along with the fact that a lot of peopl...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Yeah, a handy reminder for us that pride comes before the fall. The whole country and media were in a (largely justified) Munster frenzy. They completely underestimated us. I was a schoolboy season ticket holder at the time but I still remember it as genuinely one of the best days of my life. I act...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
BBC NI are only interested in Ulster Rugby but I don't have a problem with that because they are totally honest about it. On the other hand RTE and Newstalk pretend to be equally interested in all the provinces when in reality an obvious hierarchy of interest applies with Munster very much at the to...

Re: Leinster v Saracens
If Leinster do get to the final, unfortunately I expect that we will be facing Clermont rather than Munster. In this scenario the Irish media will probably be shouting for Clermont.

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Today's Irish Independent had one page devoted to Leinster's win over Montpellier followed by six pages devoted to Munster's win over Castre. I don't listen to any radio coverage of rugby anymore due to a similar imbalance which has existed for years. I am convince that there is nothing Leinster can...

Re: Leinster v Saracens
This will be a tough match but if we are to win the competition we have to beat the best team at some stage so why not do it when we have home advantage. I think that Leinster Rugby should be able to sell out the Aviva Stadium for this particular fixture which they may not have been able to do for R...
