Re: Cardiff Away, March 2nd
Did the Cardiff prop not drop it over the line before putting the back of his hand on it?
Really poor to concede the try in any case.
Started well and got steadily worse in the 2nd quarter.

Re: 6 Nations 2024
I wonder if Ridley will get his knuckles rapped by the ref bosses for his shambolic handling of France v Italy and in particular for his role in the events surrounding the final kick? He should. It was dreadful. And yet- not surprisingly maybe, the Telegraph podcast described him as having a very g...

Re: ROG "The Special one"
A cup tournament does not determine who is the "best in the world", or whatever geography the tournament relates to. Sometimes it's not even the "best" team in the tournament that wins it. All the teams don't play eachother.
It's a trophy for whoever manages their ties the best.

Re: 6 Nations 2024
I think they will make it as difficult as possible for us in twickenham but here's who england face for the next 5 games: Scotland (A) - LOST Ireland (H) France (A) Japan (A) New Zealand (A) New Zealand (A) Since taking charge, Borthwick's side played Scotland twice and lost both, played Ireland tw...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Geoghan was indeed a luminous, alacritous beacon of hope. Plus Geoghegan's name was difficult to spell  It still is! It has about four superfluous letters. Phonetically spelling it would probably get me banned. If we are pulling posters up on misspelling names, it will be a long battle though...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Was there rugby in the 90s? My memory from 1991-2000 is a bit hazy. Was that not the foot-and-mouth pause? Picture it. The early '90s a young Mick Galwey had a lot of credit in the bank with the Irish rugby fans and a young flaxen haired, solicitor born in Knebworth taught us all how to hope again....

Lancasters Racing losing again at Home. Doesn't seem to be going well after an initially being at the top of the table. Wonder if these results could possibly lead to a sacking for him. A sacking  We will see I guess. Had some really poor results recently. I know for a fact that he's lost the ...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Man, Ireland are only three wins on from their tenth consecutive failure to win a ko match at the RWC and already at least one Irish media muppet, Eamon Sweeny of the Indo has lost the run of himself, claiming that Faz mór's "juggernaut" is threatening to make a "mockery" of the...

Re: RWC 2027 : Ireland
Faz won't get fired for failing at a world cup , he will get fired if we aren't successful in the Six Nations. Because the IRFU couldn't give a cr@p about the world cup. It effectively costs the IRFU money for Ireland to participate in the WC, right? From a financial perspective they're dead right,...

Re: RWC 2027 : Ireland
The saffers spent 4 years successfully building depth in their squad, leading to them executing a winning multi annual plan in France. You can be damn sure that rassie is already thinking about the same issue that I've raised in the OP ..... namely, how many of his SA thirty somethings will he be a...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
France should be 25-30 points ahead. Italy are defending well to be fair to them but France are amazingly wasteful. I think that's generous tbh, the ref has been incredibly kind to them and they are still only 7 points up. Italy are fronting up here, which is great to see. I agree about ref. France...
