Good post...on a similiar note, how many Lions tours has Foley the ligind been on? And peter Stringer? For all those who think he is an Irish legend. Doesn't matter how many scrum halves they bring, that ligind will never make it. When people talk about O'Gara being a big time player, they do seem ...

Didn't see it as I was out, but REALLY glad Hamilton didn't win it. If Hatton had won the fight, he'd have got it, but glad it went to a foxy Welsh man, and not some jumped up little 'I want to live in a tax haven' runt. Also nominating someone who finished second would be a very wrong decision, es...

He's not a Munsthhhherrrr Liiiigiiind! Philip Danaher then? It is amazing how people can be paid for this sort of stuff. Kidney the Messiah and Foley the Great White Hope of Irish Rugby. Is this why we had a bad RWC? Because Foley wasn't there to pick and drive 4 meters? A lot of what he says is qu...

How is it flawed logic to add an extra player into a very specialised position? It's not a flawed logic, but you have to admit, the timing is very strange. People here keep saying "what if Keane breaks his leg?", or "you need 3 scrum halves in your squad". Whitaker broke his leg...

This post is funny.

I love the line;
Was he playing in a HCup final when he was 22?
^ This was the one he missed the important, and easy, kicks in, yeah?
Zulu agrees.
 Even this thread may be beyond on Zulu.

Can't see Gleeson losing his place. Although I do think Jenno has been our 2nd best player this season.

Hopefully Keane gets a start. It's becoming a mystery

Many people - including myself - have been saying how Contepomi isn't a great outhalf for years. He's a brilliant inside centre, and a decent outhalf - decent not being good enough at the level required if Leinster are to win anything. D'Arcy hasn't found any real form since the Six Nations. I was ...

Toulouse 10 Leicester 9 Leinster 8 This is going to go right down to the wire. Gifting Toulouse that bp and not getting one last night could really come back to haunt us. Massive performance needed next week to get a win and hopefully a bp I wouldn't worry about a BP. Take the win first. Look what ...

Ok, they were down a man, but at the point the game wasn't won. What if we went for a scrum, and butchered another fine chance? They could easily have taken an intercept, or a poor refereeing error or whatever. Edinburgh had just missed 8 kickable points in 5 minutes, which would have really made a ...

Too tired to read all the comments but I can't understand why Willis played 80 minutes. He is a brilliant defender (usually), but his passing is very poor. Far too often Contepomi picked the ball up from his shoe laces. The decision to continually over look Keane is baffling and one wonders if there...

Again, I'd rather see Chris Keane start over Willis. Keane was impressive again when he came on v Munster. I just wish they'd give this guy a start and see what happens. Looking at the Edinburgh team, and trying not to be complacent, there is no way we should not get 5 points on Friday. And Knoop is...

Re: Edinburgh team named

That looks like a really cr@p team. I was hoping they'd stick with David Blair at 10.

great player - send him our way, he's from Meath ffs he'd fit in well in Munster. I'm from Meath, does that mean I should be playing down there? I used to play 10, so on the evidence from Friday, I might have a chance. Well lets hope he isn't reading this site too much and seeing all the comm...

Saw on the replay last night when the camera panned across to the stand - could only see Cheika and Mike Brewer. . .no sign of Knox Yeah saw that too. But it meant Breener got himself a nice seat... and if I saw correctly, he even had the lap-top open in front of him like a real coach. I can sympat...

Excellent one week and pedestrian the next. You can hardly blame people for not believing the hype this time round As twice seen last season.... Beat Munster in Lansdowne, 7 days later lose to the Borders; Beat Gloucester in Lansdowne, 7 days later lose to Edinburgh. If we're to have any chance, we...

Anyway, Rob is a good bloke to have on the bench as he can cover a couple of positions. I'm not sure why you think Rob will be dropped. If Girv comes back, then the side would be the one that beat Leicester, and lost to Toulouse. That's Girv at 15 and Rob playing with 11 on his back. Like everyone ...

I thought O'Callagahn played very well actually. Stinger was a cheating little shite as usual but thought he was good too. Dowling and Leamy on the other hand, were both shite and just looking for fights. Hats off has to go to Barnes who was superb, in an incredibly difficult match . Agree totally....

Your third song suggestion I disagree with.Alot of 'culchies' support leinster !! Myself included Me too.... Win, lose or draw it will be nice to see Musgrave full for a change and I also believe Leinster are bringing a 2000 strong group which must be 2000 times the average away support It's nice t...

Lots of interesting battles Heaslip v Leamy Jenno v Wally Leo & Mal v DOC & MOD Birch v Fla Willis v Stringer True, but do you not think Lewis will feel he has something to prove? As David Wallace has been saying, this match feels like a trial game, but it's not for someone like Lewis. I do...
