Re: Kidney OUT
Ireland used to produce props and can do again. The professional era meant central control so it was possible for a small core of people to have a controlling vision of Irish rugby, Kidney and O'Sullivan have a vision that relies on getting by at scrum time. There were pluses (we got a 10 years inte...

He's a seriously tough cookie, but we knew that already.fourthirtythree wrote:It looked very like it happened in the first scrum. It wheeled and collapsed and he came away clutching his arm/shoulder. He stayed on you imagine for obvious reasons.

I also believe that we should take on board Gert Smal's suggestion from a couple of years ago that a specialised prop development program should be started as we remain clearly f**ked in this department. We just hope some one will. Ome up through the schools or youth system but why not have somethi...

Thats right up there with the "best" of what the SIndo offers, journalism at its best I'd like to state that I can neither confirm or deny that I participated in a three in a bed romp with Kaley Cuoco and AJ Cook. But you cant deny a 3 in a bed romp with Coco the Monkey(of Coco Pops fame)...

He was the recipient of a sneaky elbow on the ground a minute earlier. He got a slap round the back of the head before he retaliated too and England players took the law into their own hands.ceemec wrote:That should be a yellow at least for Henderson.

Re: Indo reporting Donnacha Ryan considering Leinster move
I don't know whether to be indignant at the lack of sense of tradition or snide about the stupidity of Ryan and his agent: it's France you threaten to go to in order to get more money / a central contract you weren't sure of   Not another Irish province. Think Provence, not province Hug...

Re: Ireland v Scotland
Kearney could end up losing his lions 15 jersey with defense like that, you always take the man with the ball and force him to pass...it could end up being a forward pass or even a knock-on. Ever heard of drift defence? Although as another poster as mentioned he was most likely screwed if he did an...

Re: Ireland v Scotland
I hope he has a great game but we are trying to make players play outside their natural abilities. Trying to make McFadden a centre falls into the same argument, McFadden cant pass and runs with his head down which is the complete opposite to what attributes are needed for 13. As Leinster fans we k...

Re: Ireland v Scotland
I'm a bit surprised at the ire towards O'Mahony here. Personally, I think he's the best bet to fill the jersey, and might - just might, I'm not convinced - improve the balance of our back row. He's no out out and out openside but maybe he's more of a 6.5 to Seanie's 6.2, if you get me. I also think...

Re: Ireland v Scotland
When O'Mahony was picked for the Ireland bench I remember hearing lots of arguments about versatility over Jennings.
He's got big boots to fill and if he's not ready to fill them, that's not his fault. Maybe he'll have a stormer, I just haven't seen it yet.

Re: Ireland v Scotland
When ROG retires soon, Kidders doesn't have a clue who'd start if Sexton got injured. Tend to disagree. If ROG and Sexton collided in training tomorrow and were both injured, I think DK knows exactly who he would start. His name is Ian and his surname is not Madigan. Humphreys? Amazing to think tha...
