Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
And I’m not saying pick the youngest possible team I’m saying rotate one or two players out with guys who haven’t started a game this season to see what they’re like and of course have the rest of the team with experienced players and experienced leaders that can help them. Would just like to see o...

Don’t know how you can still justify starting the same team every week when you’re hammering the opponents by 50+ points would be nice to see some new guys get an opportunity starting that’s all I’m saying.

Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
HOS has 24 Leinster caps, 4 this season. The coaches see a lot more of him and they have a pretty good track record. They’re giving a lot of guys a lot of chances, Osbourne gets one tomorrow. Leo has always mixed new players in with experience, it’s a winning formula. Picking the youngest possible ...

Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
This is professional sport. There's no such thing as fair. The objective is to win first and, if you can, develop players along the way to continue winning. Coaches see all of the players all of the time. When they judge that a player has performed well enough at training to contribute to the team ...

Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Genuine question, and not a sneaky dig at Leinster, but why is Bent being named to start his 7 game this season? Leinster are 6 from 6 and have added 6 BPs. Would this not be an opportune time to start blooding one of the young guns? You could say the same with Luke McGrath and Harry Byrne starting...

Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
I get the sense we're trying to build consistency of performance with a settled team to ensure we have guys ready to go for Europe, but I would've expected a bit more rotation to be honest. One of Sheehan, Milne or a scrumhalf who isn't Luke McGrath could surely have started this? Hard to understan...

Re: Leinster Academy 20-21
Could be waiting awhile.. think its far from a sure thing he will even make the full academy setup next summer. Picture of Sean O'Brien is actually Jamie Osborne Thought he looked a bit blonde.. O'Brien is pictured in the background of another photo tho. Surprised no sign of Hernan or Hickey to date. Gilsenan is the one that I want to see come through. The only one like Murray, Phillips, Holmes that I have s...

Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Would prefer to start with Sheehan, Bent & Baird in front five. Parker is out so Clarkson is sole THP bench option. Maybe Dunne with Baird & Dev / Molony on bench. Dan, Rhys & Josh for back-row with Scott Penny on bench. Luke & Harry with Frawley & RO'L in the centre with Kearne...

Re: Schools Rugby 2019-2020
Heard that the cup could be happening in the campus at Quinta do Lago, Portugal with just Michael’s, Rock, Clongowes and Belvo competing. One of the Dads is able to secure some of the first batches of vacinnes that’s coming into Ireland and then it’ll take place in Portugal in January. Nothing confi...
