Re: 6 Nations France Tickets
I couldn't get through either. On Francebillet, every time I selected tickets it sent me back to the start. On ticketnet I was in a queue for fifteen minutes, finally picked tickets and then there was a problem. Different categories of tickets appearing each time on Francebillet so I think they're s...

Re: London Irish game moved to Twickenham
On the upside - as a likely group decider, this match is bound to be more exciting than Wasps last season, so the atmosphere should be a bit better - eventho it's still in a half empty Twickers.. It was a group decider last year too (effectively). It is very difficult to find anything good about th...

Re: Official : Joe Schmidt new head coach
Article in the IT today: LEINSTER NEW HEAD COACH: ' MR RUGBY” is a fairly heavy monicker for Josef Schmidt to be carrying into Leinster pre-season this summer. Isa Nacewa is responsible for that comment, but Leinster’s own Mr Versatile is hardly of the loose-lipped variety. No, Nacewa firmly believe...

Re: Date and Time of London Irish match
That's a slippery slope. I think we are better needing the win. Then it is do or die. I'd prefer to only need a draw, myself. The team will be playing to win either way and if we're three points down (or vice versa) going to the last few minutes, this makes an enormous difference. I just think that...

Re: Date and Time of London Irish match
The other thing to bear in mind about the Mad Stad, is that it's not really in Reading! It's on the outskirts of town, next door to a shopping centre thing. LI put on (free) buses that go to the ground from the station. I don't really think it's walkable, it's a good few miles. So make sure that yo...

Re: Date and Time of London Irish match
Maybe Scarlets will do us a favour & beat London Irish (or at least ensure they don't get a bonus point)[/quote] Well they beat them the last time they played each other! (Hard and all as it is to believe after seeing their last two games). They certainly won't want to get hammered at hom...

Re: Date and Time of London Irish match
Also puts a bit of pressure on LI for the Scarlets game if we've already picked up a five pointer against Brive. Maybe Scarlets will do us a favour & beat London Irish (or at least ensure they don't get a bonus point) Well they beat them the last time they played each other! (Hard and al...

Re: Date and Time of London Irish match
Munsterfans posters say their games Treviso away 1.35 Saturday, Northampton home 8PM Friday. From previous experience they're usually right, and they've even included 'red button' for Treviso game so they must have a Sky Sports mole. Must be odds on Saturday evening for LI v Leinster assuming no Rea...

Re: Leinster Squad v Dragons - Team on Page 3!
For Christ sake Jaskman!!!!! :x Very poor, alright, felt like we wouldn't be seeing him too much more after several great years of service. Any lineout with Devin Toner and Malcolm O'Kelly to aim for should not be struggling. Disappointed we weren't a bit closer though a win was always highly unlik...

Re: 6 Nations England Tickets
Diehard Leinster fan based in London, one of my mates was going to get me a ticket on the IRSC sale but couldn't for work-related reasons. Would love to go to the match and no problems going on my own so if anyone has just one spare ticket, please PM me.

Re: Seigne gets Brive bullet
Their form has been abysmal this season so this isn't a major surprise. I'm sure they have at least one home HC win in them and wouldn't be at all surprised if they turned over the Not-Nots.

Re: Stephen Jones Predicts Leinster to win the HEC
If you read the piece - it's a setup. He's saying Leinster because he wants to have a pop at the "rubbish" that is the Celtic League - he goes on about how only the GP and French leagues are the only ones playing proper rugby. The problem with his logic is that the lst 2 Grand Slam winner...

70 minutes gone and Scarlets getting tonked by Ulster. Poor defence and scrum in trouble all night. Definitely should be looking for nine points out of those fixtures in December.

Re: Our HEC opponents - form/news thread.
I would be a bit concerned that too much of the coach and player attention will naturally be given to the derby with Munster tomorrow. Irish will surely be looking on that as a plus for them. Don't think that'll be an issue myself. In fact I think it's of great benefit to have such a tough game the...

Re: Panet Rugbys top 15 of professional era - Controversial!
Not a bad selection and nobody's ever going to agree on it; I would have Wilkinson 10, Horan 12 (that's Tim, not Marcus), Lomu 11 and someone else at 8 - probably Zinzan Brooke. Good to see Richard Hill there and difficult to argue with Johnson as captain.
