Re: Pro 12 - General Thread
Watched the first half of the Glasgow Cardiff game. Poor Gareth Anscombe. He'll be closer to the world cup, but he's no closer to playing in it than he would be if he'd stayed at home. League needs neutral TMOs. 3rd Glasgow try the TMO(SRU) showed only 2 angles of the pop pass and advised Clancy to ...

Re: Team with the fewest names
I started making a team with all the Byrnes, Kearneys and McGraths we have in Leinster and ran out of players. There is a Sean O'Brien in Connacht who plays 4,5,6. And there is another Sean O'Brien who is an underage back from the midlands (I stuck him at 12) How best can we complete the team? Pref...

Gloucester up for sale. Similar to Castres. Dad died(in 2010) left club to his son, who tbf made a few big signings but has since decided he's had enough(so it seems). AFAIK it's not like Castres in the sense that it's not dependent on the benefactor for investment. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/rugby-...

I thought Isa was coaching or short term(like Howard in Munster) RWC cover. In either of those cases we might be allowed a long term NIQ?

We are still looking at other options and players that we can bring in and we hope to make an announcement with regard to one addition in the next week or so.

Re: An embarrassment of riches: The Leinster Backrow
Kind of surprised Conan clocked up so many minutes but then we had a lot of injuries. Did well up to the turn of the new year but performances seemed to drop off a bit after that. Of course our back rows in general have been mostly poor in that period but it didn't look like just down to coaching to...

Which is fair enough. But he knew who he had and who he didn't have coming into this game. It's a risky game to play when your scrum isn't up to much. Interesting view Picture the alternative "Guys, we don't have a good scrum and they do, so don't pass the ball in case we give them a scrum!!! ...

Re: Rumour Mill
Some of it was injury related, but he persisted with some of them too(Furlong taking the bench ahead of Ross) Anyway here's an article Hugonaut did on it a while back. Compares the record of the coaches that Leinster had and how many young players they used. http://dementedmole.com/2015/01/20/the-ag...

Re: Rumour Mill
He won't be here in 3/4 years so he doesn't care about bringing through the next generation. He has to be forced to play inexperienced players, something he is not doing currently if given any other option. While I'd like to see more inexperienced players get a shot. He has played some inexperience...

No thanks mr ford. All picture, no sound. He has a couple of great individuals playing around a fantastic OH. But my god, bath are poor. Yeah this. Their skills are as bad as ours(how many knock ons and passes to nowhere did they have on Saturday). There's still question marks over the OH too. How ...

not the first time this has happened this season (CJ). A shame to see it creeping into rugby and being condoned by fans.

The missed tackles.....jaysus. not bit part players either. Bath must have a record number of hand offs.....Wtf first half we made 27 tackles and missed 14 we missed 25% overall according to ESPN Madigan 7/5 Healy 2/4 Stats lie! How many of them were easy hand offs? SOB among others was guilty too....
