Re: Ireland U20s 2023
I wonder would the IRFU consider moving next weeks game to a bigger venue around there? Not sure if they could at this short of notice but there'd certainly be the interest and by extension money to be made. No venue really suitable. How much more would they need or get to attend? Thomond Park obvi...

Re: Get AVIVA Match Day Atmosphere to A&E ASAP!!
I was there on Saturday and got to my seat about 30 mins before kick-off. We were near the Lansdowne end where the French fans were and they were mostly all in their seats well in time for the teams taking the pitch. One thing I did notice was after trying to get the crowd going when we first sat d...

Re: Sean O'Brien to retire at the end of the season
It's an interesting point. I reckon a large part of it is down to schools players being trained by their teachers and the training, preparation, playing, everything around it etc. taking place in the school environment. It is essentially part of school. Heirarchy and especially discipline is a huge...

Re: Get AVIVA Match Day Atmosphere to A&E ASAP!!
Bar AB and England matches, with few exceptions, the AVIVA matchday experience has been bad for over a decade since the comfortable but sterile AVIVA was born in 2010(?). The team won last Saturday despite our inept and anemic 'support' in the stands. It needs a proper, professional, root and branc...

Re: Sean O'Brien to retire at the end of the season
Not sure Lancaster's comments were meant the way they were reported. The media love having a pop at private school and perceived privilege and do pretty much anything to pursue that agenda. Sexton, O'Driscoll, Ruddock, Ringrose, Kearney who have all been big leadership figures for us are all privat...
