Law question. Can you claim a mark from a penalty at goal? Didn’t think you could. Law 22.2 states: “A player may claim a mark even if the ball hits a goal post or crossbar before being caught”. I think as long as the ball doesn’t touch the ground, it’s legal to call a mark from a penalty that hits...

Lineout defence is another positive in fairness, we’ve taken a fair few of their balls.

Deserved yellow for McCarthy. Ruddock getting bounced in the build up there.

Don’t know why it bothers me so much, but the Lions restarts are being taken half a meter inside our half.

Milne with the try, better start so far. Prendergast with two good involvements in the lead up to that — monster kick and half line break from the messed up line out.
