Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023

Rumours (albeit very weak) of Munster signing Malcolm Marx. This would be a great signing for Munster and makes a lot of sense given how much depth Ireland has at hooker. I see no reason why the IRFU would not allow Munster to make a signing in this area, if the funds are available. That is just th...

Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023

Reading 42.ie, seems it is a done deal he is off to Edinburgh/Glasgow with a fast track into Scottish squad etc. According to Jackman anyway. It’s a pity because he is clearly a talented player but the Scottish offer seems to be one he can’t turn down. Interesting to see some Munster fans call for ...

Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023

Great to see so much positive press around Healy. The whole shape of the Munster attack changed after he came on, granted his arrival coincided with Murray’s and it meant that Crowley pushed to 12, but the control from 10 really improved none the less. With it looking likely that Healy may be looki...

Re: Grahamunster - Graham Rowntree's Munster 2022/2023

Haley was the best back on the park tonight - who got the MOTM, because he would have been my shout for it Jack Crowley got MOTM. Haley was very good alongside Coombes. Both of them really stood up tonight. Frisch did well too. Keith Earls didn’t have his best game. Earls is a diamond of a fella bu...

We might see Vakh getting a start.
Jack Boyle maybe..

Conan played 57 minutes and made 4 tackles, missing 1. Doris played 23 minutes and made 7 tackles, missing 0. Conan is a very good player but just doesn’t impose himself on matches. Doris isn't Conan's problem at the moment, Deegan is. Doris is an absolute cert as a starter, it's the bench spot tha...

Re: The Leinster Front Row preview 2021/22

So both being fit, whose the starting hooker next year? Sheehan has made huge strides over the last 6 months since the French 6N game. Kelleher on the other hand hasn’t had a consistent run since the same game but built up an impressive portfolio of performances in the 12-18 months before that. Ver...

Re: Leinster Squad 21-22

Leinster haven’t had a second playmaker in the backs since Isa retired in 2018 and Isa played on the wing a fair bit where it’s more difficult to act as a second playmaker. I think Isa’s best position was 15 but he was brilliant everywhere and ended his Leinster career at 12. Carbery played the seco...

Charlie Ngatai has a big boot on him He’s a brilliant player. Very intelligent. Terrific signing by Leinster. Is it actually confirmed? Not confirmed for some reason but the BT Sport commentary team seemed pretty sure Ngatai was Leinster bound. Slightly odd but seem to remember Joe Tomane not being...

Hopefully just a precaution but certainly a little worrying.

Thought Jenkins had a few good powerful carries when he came on. Stats have him 38 metres in 6 carries. Jenkins’ carrying stats are very good and he hasn’t missed a tackle this season either. Admittedly he’s only played 218 minutes. Jenkins definitely has potential and I think Leinster will get the...

Any more information on Tommy O’Brien’s injury?

Leinster said it was an ACL injury so that would suggest a 6-9 month layoff.

Watching ngatai for Lyon, not a bad offloader but to me looks more a 13 than 12 (but what would a forward know about things like that 😂) Is this deal still on for him moving to us It seems it’s done but just hasn’t been announced. The commentator on BT Sport seemed pretty certain that it’s a done d...
