Re: Friday's Rave

Great to see the "new" Irish produce their best performances on the biggest stages. Well done Israel Olatunde and Rhasidat Adeleke who joined Mack Hansen in producing the goods when it matters. Fantastic performances and great for Irish sport. I appreciate the sentiment, but I wouldn't la...

Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

We don't know how coaches renumeration is structured. Every coach up to now may well have had incentives related to progress in the world Cup. But presumably if the irfu are going to have financial incentives in the contract, the main ones will be related to financial success, ie doing well in the 6...

Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

Van graan's clause was to be enacted within 6 months of signing, so presumably farrell on his current contract was past that point. Maybe by re signing they've put that clause back on the table? Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk Was it not a 6-month notice at any stage in the contract? That's ho...

Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

Regarding the principle of re signing before the wc, what would Farrell have to do to warrant being re signed? Does achieving something only done 4 times previously in over 100 years of trying not qualify? I would say it's a harder thing to achieve than getting to a wc sf. I also heard that Farrell ...

Re: European Champions Cup [Most Improved]

It's not going to improve rugby unless it happens by accident. That's not the goal. The goal is to improve the bottom line. I don't see how this would improve the bottom line though? It seems it will disenfranchise too many of the top teams and fans in europe. To the point that teams pull out and s...

Re: European Champions Cup [Most Improved]

I'm probably the only one who thinks this is an exciting development. Playing the Crusaders followed by Toulouse, Bulls etc is exciting and the global reach of the tournament will step change commercial revenues for clubs like Leinster. For English premier league soccer clubs, attendances are just ...

Re: European Champions Cup [Most Improved]

Who decided on 8 v 7+1? One competition has 24 teams from 6 countries (not incl Italy) The other has 11 teams from 2 countries (not incl Fiji). So without stretching believability too much, we could have 4 nz 3 aus 1 jap 4 sa And 4 from Europe? 2 or 3 probably France. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tap...

I'm a bit English, born in Leicester, with Welsh, Scots and Viking ancestors who voted to stay in the EU, campaigned against us joining in the first place(I was active in politics back then) but am quite happy we have left, even though I knew it would be a disaster for a lot of folk. Re: RFU reviewing “Swing Low”

They already voted on that though? Yes! Because everyone knows true democracy is you only ever vote on anything once and once only. Thats it decided forevermore. Just like we did about abortion, divorce, nice, Lisbon, that one time we decided who was going to be in government forever, and that othe...

Re: S Africa - Unstoppable juggernaut?

Maybe this is the start of a new era of domination by the South African's across all fronts but if they hadnt just had both teams in the final of the URC we wouldnt be having this conversation. And if one SF was 5 mins longer and the other 5 mins shorter, we could have had a Leinster Ulster final. ...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Heineken Cup Final Sat 28th May 4.45 Marseille

Thanks very much for that Colin. I was in the same position as Xanthippe although my circumstances meant I had no intention of going this year. But I would like to try offload the ticket. I was the same, no response from lnr from email or Web contact form. It was lnr that I bought it from. But the ...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Heineken Cup Final Sat 28th May 4.45 Marseille

Right Brooksters I need help - I need someone who can speak French to help me with a fairly major ticket issue. I bought Golden Tickets back in 2019 and now when I try to print them I can't find them in my account. I've emailed the LNR ticket address twice and this evening I tried to phone but coul...

Why did they give the harder kicks in the penalty shootout to healy and not joey?

Do they still do the membership where you only get the scarf and no match tickets? Like a distance member.
I cant see it on the website.
