I guess the point I'm making is would Leinster even tell you if it was going in your garden?

Re: Leinster's Communications Problem
Just got an email about some players being in the new Castore store tomorrow morning - a bit of notice would help! Meet Leinster players in Castore's new Grafton Street store this weekend Leinster stars Rhys Ruddock, Jimmy O'Brien and Sam Prendergast will be visiting Castore's new store on Dublin's ...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Both Thornley and Ruaidhri O'Connor were in Portugal for the training camp. A pretty clear two fingers to RO'C in particular that GT was gifted the 23 to run with from the evening before the official announcement. Others will also be miffed too but those two papers provide the most rugby content to...

Even after their horrendous showing at the RWC where they were hockeyed by France & NZ? It would be some turnaround alright for Quesada.offshorerules wrote: ↑February 2nd, 2024, 12:05 pm Might be worth a punt on Italy, new coach etc etc.

No way, sure ROG has been suspended about 6 times since he took charge of La Rochelle in July 2021 for total of about 21 weeks.Dave Cahill wrote: ↑January 31st, 2024, 1:07 pmMichael Cheika.curates_egg wrote: ↑January 31st, 2024, 12:56 pm

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Ah the old reliable "rent free" comment again... I wondered when it would appear :) Once the discussion reached it's second page on the umpteenth thread. The sooner Leo steps upstairs to the Union and ROG takes over as head coach, the better <legger> Yes indeed. There'll be no more need f...

Warning: I'm going to be really cranky below... Turned on the TV this evening and there was ROG on the screen blabbing about Crowley or something. Turned it off, had a look at my phone and there was 2 items in my feed "0'Gara says... Blah blah". Just looked at my tab, 2 more items with &q...

Are these the guys who won the development deal? Some of their pictures show some roofing on the north and south ends:

Re: RDS redevelopment
The Romans anchored their roof to a permanent structure that goes a hundred of feet into the ground and weighs 230,000 tons. The colosseum isn't just sitting on the ground at one end of the Forum! The blocks on the lower section weigh between 50 and 70 tons apiece The roof in PUC is anchored into t...

Re: RDS redevelopment
Does it have to be something permanent to anchor the roof though, why not something underground that the roof would be connected to and disconnected from to allow use of the whole arena for the Horseshow? Maybe it would be prohibitively expensive but it can't be impossible.

Re: RDS redevelopment
This will save some time, If you have an idea of what the stadium should be like and it's not compatible with a 5 star FEI showjumping event, then it can't happen. For comparison, an example of a 5 star FEI showjumping arena is the RDS with the north and south stands removed. That's correct Dave bu...

Re: RDS redevelopment
The Anglesea Stand is pretty poor at this stage and needs to be redeveloped - look at the grounds the likes of La Rochelle and Toulouse play in and the facilities they have. I know the South and North stands in the RDS are temporary but surely we could come up with a temporary roof on them? I think ...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
I find it hard to understand the seemingly endless references to the next RWC and how the Six Nations squad should have been picked with this in mind. We've barely got over the last RWC and it seems to be non stop talk about the next one. We've four Six Nations titles we can win before then and a co...

Re: Champions cup draw …..
FFS, they had a near perfect competition and they’ve f%~ked it up. I cant decide if they’re more arrogant or incompetent. A competition that only 4 of the 38 teams eligible to play in it think is worth keeping is probably the exact opposite of perfect Sorry, but what do you mean Dave? Only the Iris...
