Re: Wales V'S Ireland

Sexton shouldn't have tried the drop goal. When you have the peno in that position you go for the try. And he bloody missed it!!!!

Re: Contract renewals

I'm just giving my opinion on a player who might or might not be coming. I watch a lot of Ail matches . The boy can play is all im saying and if you know a better irish qualified 4 jumper to replace cullen do speak up. Bear in mind also rumours of Marshal leaving so we might be down 2 second rows i...

Re: Why Conway should/shouldn't wear blue again

1 in 5 people hitting this one; "Yes, when he comes back after a year or two down south under Howlett." Who are these people? I'd love to know who thinks Conway will be back. I reckon he'll end up in England before coming back to Dublin. He won't be back. Either he's a big sucess down the...

Re: Healy signs new 3 year deal

Great news! In what will hopefully be a season of renewal, it's good to nail down our two pack pillars. Despite the anguish at the HC and Johnny et al moving on, retiring , etc. I'm sort of excited about next year already. It won't be a same as usual one anyway... :)

Re: Why Conway should/shouldn't wear blue again

Why look for the negatives in it? Conway obviously wants to go - otherwise he'd just see out his contract. Munster obviously want him. IRFU and Leinsters position is unknown - we're just speculating. Occams razor applies surely - which is more credible? 1) Leinster wanted to keep him, but Munster/I...

Re: The Positives!

I don't think we'll either want to or be allowed to sign a premium centre, we have D'arcy, FMcF, Eoin O'Malley and Macken, plus BOD if he stays. I'd be surprised if Barnes were even on the market (although his contract is up), indeed I wouldn't be surprised if hes named captain of the 'tahs next we...

Re: Sexton to Racing

Huge blow to Leinster losing not only a world class outhalf but a team leader. I'm not sure about the move for Johnny either, joining a makey uppy club who probably won't play European cup rugby next year, who embarrassed themselves in Europe this year and who are not even remotely contenders for t...

Re: Non Irish Qualified O/H

What about Steenson as back-up to Madser? Wouldn't even need to argue with the IRFU over that and he'd be a great option for Pro12 and HEC bench (as he has shown this year). Can't think of an Ulster-born player ever playing for Leinster...but, with the M1, its only a little bit further from Dublin ...

Re: Conway to Munster

It's a weird move to be honest. He signed a new contract in April (so I'm told)) so was obviously happy then. This season, he effectively became a "first" choice Rabo player and benching in the ERC. What was he expecting to happen this year? or what else has changed? Being honest, I think...

Re: Sexton to Racing

I know most people here don't like him but I remember reading an article by Stephen Jones in Rugby world that the Provincial game in Ireland was after getting bigger than the Irish team. He said that DK and the IRFU were going to do everything they could to change that, and at the time I thought th...

Re: Welsh Ball Boys- WTF!

Ballboy was 17 and acting like a real tw@t. Why are people on the guardian saying he's a child? If hazard kicks a professional 17 year old should he be considered a child kicker? Hazard shouldn't have done it but the 17 year old ball boy is a muppet. He needs to grow up. Wasn't Wayne Rooney only 16...

Well the shouldn't! And if they are caught doing it they should be disciplined as well as the ball boys.

Welsh Ball Boys- WTF!

Whatever about the Chelsea player Eden Hazard's bad conduct, what is it about Welsh ball boys in either soccer or rugby??!! We have one little fecker helping Phillips cheat against Ireland in Cardiff in the 6N in 2011- and last night one of them tries prevent the ball going back for an opposition ki...

Re: Leinster v Exeter

I know I'm coming across as an arrogant p**ck but I dont care. We should have smashed them home and away. Their 7 had a good game but he was allowed to. If Jeno had been on the pitch then i would suggest that their 7 would not have been as influencial. You do know that we beat them both times? And ...

Just in case anybody doesn't know, the Amlin final is not yet sold out, so log on to ticketmaster and snap those bad boys up!! Not wishing to tempt fate here, but if we do get there it would be great to have the feel of any home game and not "neutral" North and South stands still remainin...

No the best thing is the winning of it. The ranking points, which we currently top IIRC- hasn't dealt us any favours in the last few years really. The title is the thing!

Re: We're in the Amlin now. Ohooh We're in the Amlin, now

I think some people need to give this competition some credit. It's silverware and should targeted fully! Playing academy players and anything short of a relative full strength team is degrading the tournament and the position Leinster find themselves in. I'm a little disappointed that SOME people ...

Re: Leinster v Exeter

In reality we were knocked out by not beating Clermont at home, failing to score enough tries in the first 2 or 3 rounds. Sticks in the throat a bit that Toulon and Racing didnt bother showing up and really pisses me off that the Turnips are through and we're not. But none of that excuses the fact ...
