Re: Ulster 2022-2023
Ulster, and in particular, Dan McFarland, are really sitting on Aaron Sexton. The guy never plays. Peter O'Reilly wrote an article in the Sunday Times about Irish wingers and a lack of pace, and I was surprised that he didn't mention Sexton in it, even in passing. He's got a properly timed 10.4 100...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens
Different sport I appreciate but will The Premiership Clubs now take inspiration from the Football World and try and create a league outside of RFU and World Rugby control. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/dec/21/european-super-league-boost-court-of-justice-ruling-uefa-fifa-eu-law All they ...

Re: ROG "The Special one"
Regarding the touchline bans. It's hardly a big inconvenience for ROG to watch the match from the coaches box - most coaches do. Personally I think the punishment should be sit in a hotel room across town with no access to a phone for the duration. For the laugh I would let him watch the match but h...

Re: European Champions Cup 23/24
Just heard. Lancaster has lost the Dressing Room. 🤣🤣😂😂 I am worried that the owner of Racing will realise he took the wrong Coach and come looking for Leo. I'm calling b*%&!cks on that. Racing 92 top the French league Ian. McFarland losing the dressing room makes more sense after their start to...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens
I heard that the missing payments were an admin error rather than financial problems. I am not sure what you are driving at here. My original post stated it was reported as an admin error. The story I linked to stated it was an admin error. So we all get the admin error bit. The article I linked di...

Exeter late paying the players this month.
Nothing to see here though as it was a clerical error.

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Few murmurs around that Munster are signing a NIQ tighthead next year. Don't have anything concrete but there's been talk of it. Ahh here, admittedly I have only been attending Leinster matches for just over 20 years and as a result have just over 20 years of listening to murmurs from Munster but.....

Re: english clubs to join URC?
Just to add to to the confusion, the RFU are now considering building a Prem 1 and Prem 2 league/conference consisting of teams from the Premiership and the current English Championship (minus Championship winners Jersey, but allegedly raising the ghosts of Wasps, Worcester and LI). I kid you not. ...

Re: english clubs to join URC?
The financial governance model in the English premiership is shambolic and ruinous. It’s a virus that appears to have spread to their Championship given the recent collapse of the Jersey Reds . It also undoubtedly contributed to the approach taken by the ‘spivs’who run the Premiership in their high...
