Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19

Some interesting pieces in the IT of late I wonder if there are some more serious issues behind the scenes. The piece on Rassie was definitely a surprising line to take

Re: Lifestyle Sports

There's a sports shop in Rathfarnham Shopping Centre that often has an array of Leinster stuff. As it seems you're in the area anyway, you could try it. It's on the ground floor, just beside the middle stairs. Is the problem not that lifestyle are exclusive sellers for Leinster (and I think Munster...

Re: A whiff of Cordite

Yeah I was thinking of the teams in England only, and I was a bit off on the challenge cup. I didn’t check it online but in fairness did say “I think”. The point stands that the pro 14 isn't out performing the other leagues regardless Out performing? Well its producing a more sustainable version of...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse Sunday April 21st 3.15

I like Bent but there's no way in the universe he should be picked ahead of a fit Porter. He's slightly more likely to lock down a scrum, but he's a vastly inferior player in every other aspect of the game. Porter is a much more potent threat at the breakdown, a much better carrier, and bizarrely g...

You don't get to a Euro semi final three years in a row with a powderpuff pack
And yet.....

Although the IT gave Thornley the space to write a detailed piece about the AIL Club perspective (although Lansdowne are hardly typical) in Saturday's edition and the Indo carried a piece by Sinead Kissane about the Railway Union perspective on the status of Women's Rugby, neither The Sunday Indo o...

Re: Techy advice needed

Ok so don't laugh but can anyone recommend a tech shop/service in town to upgrade a PCs from windows vista to Windows 10, I think it has to step to Windows 7 and then 10 as looking around online there's no one step move. The PC itself is fairly high end (well it was when purchased) and prefer to jus...

Sarries are going to be using Spurs's new ground for their annual special game of the season. Thought you'd all like to know. Does not affect us in any shape or form but hey, you read it here first. Would love to play them in the final. Arguably, the biggest showdown in Heino History bar none! Was ...

Bonus point win away from home featuring players off form or coming back from injury, players from 3rd/4th choice string being offered a chance, and very little in the way of moves given away to video analysis for Wales or RWC rivals, against an improved Italy backboned by improved club performances...

Yep except Cullen, Casey and Toner were somewhat underused. Toner really has only gotten backing since Joe IMO.

Re: Ireland 2018/2019

Last season Jones was looking poor, this year we are a little off our best, but injuries are severe. Still is worrying in its own way that we might have peaked too soon. We also dont have the depth we thought we had. On the depth piece I think it's actually better than we ever thought, look at how ...

Re: Ireland v England. Saturday, February 2nd.

England were pretty damned impressive. Hard to imagine many teams in the world can play with them when they play with that intensity and accuracy. No shame in losing to a performance like that. If they can maintain that, and that is a massive challenge for every team, they are screaming towards a s...
