Did I hear someone say that Dev is about to become a Dad so won't be heading to SA? Best of luck to Dev & Mrs T in the days ahead.. Leo gave an press interview a few weeks ago and he gave the impression that none of the Internationals or the Lions would be heading south. http://www.independent....

Pro 12 to become Pro14??
Anyone know the full story on this? According to the IT, two South African sides set to join a revamped Pro12 (Pro14?) as the Cheetahs and Southern Kings are reported to be added for 2017/18 season. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/pro12/south-african-sides-set-to-join-revamped-pro12-1.3139043

You're a braver man then me Dexter. It'll be a few weeks before I'm ready for another viewing. Maybe not even then. Might go into denial and pretend it never happened :? I call for a do over, who's with me? :D #WeWerentReady I know what you mean.... I think I'll file it away beside a certain April ...

Re: Season Tickets 2017-1018
Could we be cute and throw in a pre season game or two into the rds or a midweek November game against a tier 2 nation? RDS isn't available in August for pre-season games. Not sure about an international game. I seem to remember that Johnny Sexton made his Irish debut in a November game at the RDS ...

Does it effect the seeding for next Season's Champions Cup or is that decided on how you do in the play-offs?Dave Cahill wrote: so only the nominal honour of topping the league to play for.

Re: EPCR SEMI-FINAL V CLERMONT
Great effort to attempt to turn the game around but as many have said, the head start just gave us to much to do.
Atmosphere there was awesome but as I said at the time, I think that the decision to settle for the draw away to Castres, which meant we lost out on the home semi, has to questioned.

Re: Robbie Henshaw - Best IQ signing?
Sean Cronin and Mike Ross would be good candidates for that title too. Reddan, also. Mike Ross was the stone upon which our 2nd/3rd HCs campaigns were built. Reddan was fantastic but without Mike Ross he wouldn't have had much to work with. Ross is by far the best at present. Henshaw may very well ...

Not impressed ....... Their size range of gear for those of us with a "fuller figure" isn't great at all. They only go up to 3x whereas Canterbury go to 6x

Ospreys v Leinster Sat 3pm - Live on Sky
In all the euphoria of the Wasps win, let’s not forget we’ve a couple of games to play before we meet Clermont, starting with Saturdays away trip to Ospreys
So who will be rested? Will Cronin return? Etc.

With re: Byrne, it hasn't just been last week that he has been caught positionally, it's been a very common recurring theme throughout the year that we've managed to avoid through luck or scrambling. He has this thing of biting in and leaving a man overlap when he should be trusting his 13 a bit mo...

The actual headline in the Indo is interesting "Leinster handed boost with Lancaster and rest of coaching team to stay in place until 2019" .... I'd have thought it would have read "Cullen and the rest ....."
They do however say in the body of the article that Leo is staying

With news breaking that Munster's Rassie Erasmus has admitted that he has held “formal and informal” talks with the powers that be in South Africa, I hope we've sorted out the extension to Bomber's contract and it's all signed up ........ Hate for him to head down the M7
