Re: CJ VDL
We were very much on top in the scrum until CJ came on, and Hagan came on for Connacht.

Re: CJ VDL
What a disappointing signing, really.
I hope Ross is persisted with at this stage as he's playing solidly, and it could end up with him being Ireland's first choice TH in the summer.

Re: Leinster V Glasgow
No doubt Shaggy has been shafted. I'm just afraid that Kidney's put him in the same basket as Bob Casey -playing great but too old.... You gotta feel sorry for Casey, that guy could have had an Irish career that would have ranked him as one of the greats if things had worked out differently. He cou...

Re: Jamie considers his options
If he's looking to better the terms of his contract it's no shock given the year he has enjoyed. In the past 12 months he's been nominated for 6N player of tournament, nominated for world player of the year, started all 3 Lions tests, won the GS and HEC (scoring 2 tries in former and scoring in fin...

Re: Leinster V Glasgow
I think MC might start Keane too, and leave Ross on the bench. I think so too, unfortunately. You could talk me into that team though! (Maybe apart from Girv & Kearney) Nacewa would make such a difference at fullback - Girv offered nothing at all against Cardiff, and we might as well get Nacewa...

I'd much, much rather Bowe with Horgan coming in on the right wing.

Re: What team would you pick for Italy?
It's quite hard to forget how poor his form had been for the 2 years before that though. Well yes, but look at TOL - absolutely laughable on the summer tour of 2008, couple of months later finds himself playing against the ABs and clearly the best nine in the country, looking a completely different...

Re: What team would you pick for Italy?
I believe Trimble's form over the past couple of months has been utterly immense. Better than anything Earls has ever shown on the wing.
