If it was a ploy to squeeze every bit of atmosphere out of the pre match build up It worked a treat
To be fair the crowd around me thought he was hilarious when he announced replacements using numbers rather than names - obviously the budget did not stretch to buying him a programme .

Re: Leinster v Wasps
Huge relief we won given the recent performances and the number of injuries Delighted for Fanning - he was up for the game , always seems to make yards with the ball and gets turned over less than some of our other backs . A leaders performance from Heaslip carried hard and gave the team a lift in s...

Re: Leinster v Wasps
Getting nervous about tomorrow - too many injuries for any comfort
One thing for sure the support for the team needs to be vocal loud and consistently strong throughout the game
It's easy to shout for the team when they are winning all around them - this feels like a time to really show support

Re: Leinster V Munster
Congrats Munster - it's been a while - enjoy it while it lasts Let's face facts Munster controlled the pace for the bulk of the game - our line out was disrupted ,scrum ball was slow , on the back foot or collapsed , ruck ball was slowed or turned over . The Munster pack was more aggressive direct a...

Re: Leinster V Ulster
Agree it was a nail biter of a finish - not too many people heading for the exit before the final whistle The noise and the atmosphere was great On the pitch Toner was the best of the forwards - line out as usual , tackling and ball carries definitely a vastly improved player this season in 6 nation...

Fantastic to hear about the Seanie deal being done .......... What a legend
And now with Strauss back on the bench I'm starting to believe this is our week and we have a shot at historic win against the Ospreys tomorrow

New French Top 14 TV Deal
Looks like top 14 have made a new TV deal for next 5 seasons
Worth € 70m p.a more than double this seasons rate
This has to be a concern in relation to more high level players being tempted abroad

Re: The O'Driscoll Stand?
Would also have the advantage of getting in before naming rights are sold off to someone Even if this is an RDS call can't see a reason why the grandstand could not be renamed for the purposes of Leinster games even if it was called something else for horse show etc Would the O'Driscoll terrace be a...

Re: Leinster @ Dragons, 1st November 2013
Delighted Dundon crossed for his try - his throwing was good all game and he showed up well around the pitch would be interested in his tackle count. Ruddock also prominent in the pack . Thought criticism of Cooney on here was a bit harsh . Another win under the belt this time away from home . The p...
