Re: NFL
The Giants were awful at everything last night. Maybe we'd have gotten something going had Cruz not blown his knee out as he went for an easy TD reception and the score gone to 20 - 7 instead of 27-0 as it did on the next possession, but it's unlikely in truth. You'd have to think thats now the seas...

Re: Pro 12 - General Thread
Don't the NFL have Independant TMO like characters based in a HQ somewhere? Not even in the same state as the game. Unless obviously the game is being played in the same state as the HQ, then they're not too far away. The NFL have the review booth at pitch side and the Referee reviews the play and ...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
God this is grating. I'm delighted for the ERC staff who have kept their jobs (at least in the short term) but what an absolute joke to have to go back to them and get them to run this nonsense. Imagine creating a situation where you either tried to make people redundant, or told them they'd have t...

Re: Leinster Ticket Pricing
Seems like a clever way of raising ticket prices without being seen to be raising ticket prices.
Will be interested to see what the increments are like and what the top prices are now set at

Didn't they have them involved the last time? Seem to remember pictures with the both men and womens players around Carton House, fairly sure it was the time the last jersey launched

Story here http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/european-rugby/10955459/European-Rugby-Cup-officials-seconded-to-run-the-inaugural-European-Rugby-Champions-Cup.html Really are a shower of muppets running this new competition. Granted they didn't have much time to get the new organisation setu...

That's a bit harse on Tuilagi, he looked to offload but Brown had pulled to far wide and too far back to be of any use

Re: Emerging Ireland
I'm guessing that this is a development team the Russians have put out but I can't understand why they'd do that. Surely the point of this tournament is to give these teams match time against higher quality opposition then they'd usually play against, so why put out your reserves as cannon fodder? A...

So are we banjaxed now regarding a Pro 12 sponsor for next year? Surely the Welsh carry the can for that more than PRL?

Re: New Euro competition
No idea, but the talk around the accounts coming out was that BT Sport was the driver behind their increased broadband subscriber base and profits. As to how much can be attributed to any one sport only BT will know internally, like most things its the whole package. A sport channel cant exist on fo...

Re: New Euro competition
I think BT shareholders are indulging them at the moment - but 2 or 3 years go by, with little growth in paying subscribers investors are going to start to question if their money is being spent wisely. Profits up, broadband subscribers up and increasing their dividend, so they aren't doing to badl...

Just watched the incident for the first time. Hopefully this is the final straw and will give the IRB the kick up the hole they need to finally do something serious about the concussion issue.

Re: Welsh Rugby 2013/2014
Season ticket renewal for the Ospreys of £99 for a seat on the halfway line for 16 games (about the cost of Heineken Cup only for us). New members who don't sign up for an earlybird offer can go and pay about double. A la carte cost of tickets is supposed to be £330. What's the point of even trying...

Re: Support from the wider rugby community.
f%~k 'em, they weren't concerned with the wider rugby community for the last year when they wanted everyone else to bend over and take what they were giving us just so they could line their pockets. All those Bath fans had a year to buy their tickets but weren't arsed, so why should a match be moved...

Just saw on the twitter machine that Jared got an award at the Leinster awards night for all his work with the OLSC. Well deserved, and big thanks for all the work which makes our lives easier on those away trips.

Re: Help a girl out - fitness question
Unfortunately the DOMS tend to be worst on the second day after exercise when you start back/do something new. I'm not sure what can be done at this stage in prep for this evening apart from what the lads above said, just get a nice warm up done to loosen the quads up. A very light slow jog around t...

Re: Getting to Toulon ?.
Back on topic, I was trying to book a train from Saint Augustin to Toulon on the SNCF website, but only one station in Nice seems to appear. Is it actually possible to get a direct train or do I have to go to the city centre? I was looking at that originally but staying in Nice for the Munster matc...

Re: Getting to Toulon ?.
also there's a train station about a 10 min walk from the airport, St Austin or something like that which will get you to the main station in Nice, Its about a 10 min train journey.
