Saturday was another great big serving of hope.

It was a well deserved win and the drama in the final minutes was delicious. Dublin could do with someone other than Bernard Brogan up front though. For long periods he was the only one they were kicking ball to and Kerry were well wise to it. The Kilmacud players should be back in the mix for the trip to Monaghan.

Nice win for the hurlers yesterday as well. Sure, it's "only" the Walsh cup but it's also beating Kilkenny in a final without Dublin's strongest panel.

Any day we beat Kilkenny in hurling, at any level, is a good day. Delighted to see some real progress being made.

Was at Croker the last 2 weekends, really enjoyable stuff(bar Jedward!)..........good to see us creating and finishing goal chances, a recent weak area for us. Only the league but.....had a decent start last year and it led on to a good Championship.

Went up to Clones on Sunday.............a real curate's egg of a performance. Started like a train and looked like we'd be outta sight and then just stopped playing completetly for about 20 minutes. Lucky to win in the end, did our best to lose it and the Monaghan forwards let us off the hook with some poor shooting(short & wide).

Good, solid win by the hurlers down in Wexford where by all accounts we rarely got(or needed to get) out of 2nd gear. Stephen Hiney very unlucky though, out for the season now with ligament damage. Interesting to see Daly's call on a new Captain..................

Alright....point taken......can't expect to win ANY game by shooting 19 wides to your opposition's 7. Ah well, still a decent chance of a league final appearance.

Not that bad a turnout at all. Very fit and physical, and a match (on both counts) for any team, KK included. Skills are still a little lacking in depth, but that's obviously improving all the time. Galway were very lucky with the last goal, and Dublin had just started to play all the hurling (like they'd done for the first 40 minutes). Not far that off the pace at all, at all. Fair play to Daly! At least they're not a fly-by-night performing team like Wexford have been, or Waterford maybe (or even Laois of a few years ago at a lower level). They're staying with the best of them, having beaten the best of them, and showing signs of improvement all the time; how bad!
