I so much enjoyed reading this the week after the game. Made a special day even better.

Illustrates why it's always more desirable to have a massive flute than be one.

As Niall himself might be wont to say, Hubris is followed by...well, you know the rest.

ha! that video is unavailable where i am so i rule your evidence inadmissible. furthermore i will move the goalposts and claim i meant in a leinster jersey all along, cos it's a leinster fans forum, not ireland.

on a side note, fock the 6N for blocking their youtube videos.

What a lovely a timely reminder to all of us who supported Leinster before we won things, as to why we hate Munster!

The hubris was rife for a long time prior to that day, but this was the culmination. A lovly mirror image - my worst day as a rugby fan on Black Sunday 2006 vs my best in Croke Park in 2009.

Indeed I often wonder where Niall is now.
Probably wintering with his mother in Glanmire.
A cat, rain, Vim under the sink, and both bars on.

The decade anniversary of this will be sweet.
This year is the decade of the last time Munster won in Europe.

Some famous names in the earlier pages who are no longer on this site, or have started a new account. Isn't RnR the guy who had a hard on for the 'insider knowledge' and then ran away when people had enough?

The funny thing about the NK article is having to constantly read Munster fans moaning about D4A media or Leinster agendas in the press. For starters, the Irish Times would never, ever, print a similar piece about Munster. Under no circumstances. And if miraculously they did, the sports editor would lose his/her job. I'm surprised they printed it but who cares. Shitty paper with a cr@p foriegn desk.

That may true, but it is the best/only foreign desk in Ireland...or the only Irish print media that still hires foreign correspondents at any rate.

One of my many, but top, pet hates with the turnips is when the moan about D4 media bias though. What utter tosh.

Haven't listened to OTB in a long long time but enjoyed that. I must have rewinded that piece with jenno about 6 times. Woman at the traffic lights beside me started laughing at me. Tears and all.

I work in the Museum and often wonder if I'd been at the desk that day would Jenno have played as well as he did. The lady in question was also a Lunster
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.
