Anyone else on the Killester Travel 6am flight?
Not a typo - check in at 4am . I usually don't get to bed till about 2am - this should be fun
Just wondering if I should keep an eye out for anyone from here - I'll be the guy in the Leinster top....

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.

Believe so. Though I will probably print out the confirm they sent. If you spot a randomer wandering around on his own that's probably me - other guys are on the later one.future international wrote:see you there mate, dont know what form il be in at that hour though

Think I may wait for pints post breakfast in the Cally. Are they unloading the 9 o'clockers into the Cally as well or are you being left at the ground at 10

On the 8.30, getting dropped to the ground on arrival at 9.30. Presumably so the bus can swing around and go get the people on the 9 flight.

9am here too, yeah we're getting dropped off at the stadium.
Anyone any idea how long it takes the aircoach from Sandyford at around 6am?

What's with being dumped at the ground nearly 8 hours before KO?

on the 9am flight with 4 others...looking forward to a nice cool pint at 7.30 with breakfast. Is everyone's plan to find a bar/beer tent near the ground for the afternoon or will it be into edinburgh city centre?

Were walkin into the city
Re: Anyone else on the Killester Travel 6am flight?
I'm laughing at this - there is an advantage of the 6am flight. You get tea, coffee and brekkie rolls at the Cally. The thoughts of couple of hundred blue clad sods mooching around the stadium at 9 in the morning asking "Is it nearly time for kick-off" and trying to sniff out a pint is hilarioussheepshagger wrote:What's with being dumped at the ground nearly 8 hours before KO?
I think a stroll back into town is in order - if only to pass the time.

We'll soon know the answer to that - we may have numerical advantage thoughfuture international wrote:wonder what the Hilton will make of molly being sung at 7 in the morning?

On the 8.45. Anyone else getting this one?
AFAIK the bus is going to the stadium. Sure it's only a half hour walk into the city, it'd probably take longer to get in by bus given the traffic.

If you're on the 747 Travel flight ZTsomething, then that's me too. Brace yourself, its a Russian charter called Voronezhavia Just made sure I got travel insurance! I must really love this team because I really hate flying. And I really hate charter flights.

Nah I'm on the Blue Line flight.
Bloody hell, there's 3 flights leaving Dublin for Edinburgh at the 8 45 slot. Ryanair, Blue Line and Voronezhavia
Wonder which one'll reach Edinburgh first.

Re: Anyone else on the Killester Travel 6am flight?
reckon ye should get to airport early, final day at airport is chaotic, worst experience i had was charter flight 2006 to cardiff booked via stephens green trave, was due to leave at 8 am,left at 11,we were 10 mins in air and pilot of charter announces ,we will be arriving in birmingham in 45 mins,it was the nearest thing to air rage i ever saw.bus from birmingham to cardiff ,arrived 10 mins b4 final and then lost. anyway i would expect delays ,best of luck

Me, I'm on the 6.30am drive from Surrey. Should be there for Lunch and a Pint with Flash and however else is around...
Should be a great day, and hopefully Leinster win playing well. But above all else if your going support the team no matter what happens (think the Stoop)and remember how much your encouragement helps..
More than the Leinster, Leinster chants (which will blend in with the Leicester, Leicester ones), make sure you get on board with the songs all the way through...
Enjoy the day and I hope the result falls your way...

The Ryanair one, of course. The pilot doesn't even put the handbrake, just slows down to let the cattle off and on again!philguth wrote:D2 Blue wrote:philguth wrote:On the 8.45. Anyone else getting this one?

Meanwhile, the pride of the Voronezhavian fleet will be having new elastic bands fitted to the propellers.
Can't take much more of this. Between the matchday tension and the prospects of being a Russian test pilot, I think I'll have half a valium with my horlicks!
