Munster Game Moved to Lansdowne
Dear totalrandomer
Leinster Rugby is delighted to confirm that our October 2nd fixture against Munster in the Magners League will be played in the Aviva Stadium. This will be the first competitive rugby match to be played in the new state of the art arena and we expect a sell-out crowd on the day.
As a Season Ticket holder you already have been assigned your seat(s) for this game in the lower tier (please be aware that this cannot be changed).
You will be seated in BLK103 and you will receive a ticket by post for this fixture in due course.
We are delighted to also offer you priority purchase of additional tickets prior to general release. Below we have listed a password for each Season Ticket in your account. Each of these passwords will allow you to purchase a maximum of four tickets. Please note that these tickets are available on a first come, first served basis only and are offered as a benefit and not an entitlement.
This pre-sale will open at 10am on Wednesday, 18th August at which time your password(s) will be active. This Presale will conclude at midnight on Sunday 22nd August and tickets will go on public sale at 10am on Monday, 23rd August.
Please note that this sale is taking place on the main Ticketmaster website and not via your Leinster Rugby account manager.
Here is the website Link to purchase (Active on Wednesday Morning only):

Re: Munster Game Moved to Lansdowne
Anyone else know why this is now being sent from Ticketmaster as opposed to the Leinster ticketmaster page? Seems strange as the Leinster office usually give fore warning in their season ticket holder e-mails.
Re: Munster Game Moved to Lansdowne
Looks like I'm in the North "stand" so - email says block 133. I'm happier with that than being up in the Gods.

Why is that plan different to the Ticketmaster one?
Does it change from puffball to rugby?

Me too, I'd say they would fill that end with terrace season ticket holders. Should make for a good atmosphere hopefully.Exile wrote:Block 135 for me. I'm an Anglesea Terrace season ticket holder.

Not happy that the terrace ST holders have been dumped behind the goals in the shitty Havelock end seats.
So much for the Branch looking after all the season ticket holders.

Think it was always going to happen, we pay the least for our season ticket. It was either there are right up the top of one of the upper tiers.Donny B. wrote:Not happy that the terrace ST holders have been dumped behind the goals in the shitty Havelock end seats.

I think that terrace in the Havlock Sq was always going to happen - the numbers suit nicely and it keeps everyone together. I'm quite happy about it and look forward to a Stoopesque type atmosphere.

Re: Munster Game Moved to Lansdowne
I wonder how the pre=sale is going to go, what are there? 13k STHs this year? If everyone buys their full allocation that makes 52000 sales for a 50000 seater stadium! Or are there less season ticketsthan that this year?

113, and I'm a North stand STH. At least it's not the silly end of the ground.

Re: Munster Game Moved to Lansdowne
That's good point. All STH's MUST take up their allotment of 4 tickets and make sure that those tickets ONLY go to Leinster heads, in order to limit the amount of tickets that will be available to the Red muckers.BlueArmyOriginal wrote:I wonder how the pre=sale is going to go, what are there? 13k STHs this year?
