One of our Lions is missing

Post by Leoslovechild »

Where has Leo gone? Firstly against Connacht on New Years day he had no drum just a scarf and on Friday night no sign of him at all.Is it a feline flu or something more sinister?

Perhaps a victim of DK's ridiculous Mascot Protection Programme. He was badly missed against the O's, hope the IRFU let him have us back for Sarries.

Just because a post upsets you, that doesn’t mean that it is wrong. People have different views in all aspects of life, this is a key ingredient to an interesting conversation.

Leo would never go to Stade! 1) They don't look after their mascots in France like we do in Ireland. 2) Over there he'd just be one of many high-flying mascots, while in Ireland he's the top star, plastered across the celeb pages, a household name. And then of course if he did go to France for a big pay packet he'd have to go somewhere beginning with the letter L, which rules Paris out... So that's just a silly rumour!

Wouldn't begrudge him the opportunity if he were to go, but how would we cope? He's missing for one game, and we're in a state of panic.

Leo's my inspiration!!! :|

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we need cover in every position. I really think the Academy should be looking at young Liam from the Irish pride ad. He brings great energy to his game, he'll keep Leo honest and last week proved that we simply don't have an option when Leo gets injured or loses form. We've got to think of the future

I think the investigation needs to start back at the Clermont game where there was some distinct issue concerning his Drum.

Not wishing to start rumours but am i alone in thinking that CA had sabotaged Leo's equipment and he's taken it upon himself to exact revenege in a one Lion solo mission to Stade Marcel Michelin on Friday night. Go get em' Leo.....

Are you seriously suggesting throwing a young fella into HEC action like that without a couple of ML or B&I Cup action first?! I'd say send Liam down to Connacht next year and see how he gets on with regular gametime first. :P

I think it's dangerous to fast track academy guys into such a crucial position, especially for the Heineken Cup. They wouldn't have nearly enough talent developed yet to keep the drum beat consistant.

I think we should sign some cover from southern hempisphere until we can properly bring someone through. There's plenty of decent replacements knocking around south africa.

The same article in the Indo that said Leo is going to Stade said that the branch is saying we might bring this guy in as a replacement.

I know we'd need to bring him through slowly at first but he certainly looks like he has the talent. I'm concerned that the academy is leaving gaps in their planning

I actually thought that it was a different guy playing Leo. The outside looked the same but the gestures/actions were different to what he normally does.

Hope Ian is okay?

He seemed to be enjoying himself whomever he was. A little too much.

Was told to shut up when starting a mexican wave in the South stand as their kicker was lining one up :)

Was funny.

The main thing is that Leo was there for the kids.
Dunno if it was Ian or not, and have no idea why it wouldn't be him.
I don't think it matters either way.
