I saw that on facebook today Leinster posted about the arrival of the 3rd jersey, most of the comments were negative, and now it seems as if the post has been deleted?

who would pay 60 euro for this atrocity?
http://www.leinsterrugbystore.ie/produc ... t=6&page=2

further more 85 euro for the test version?
http://www.leinsterrugbystore.ie/produc ... t=6&page=2

they can't even show us a version that has the bank of ireland logo on it? we've no idea if it will have the 2 stars on it?

As they said on facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... 239&type=1
Leinster Rugby

We would like to clarify that there is no Heineken Jersey this season. The Home jersey, pictured, is what we will wear in the Heineken Cup.
We feel it is unfair to launch a Heineken Jersey in the same year as a new home jersey.
There will be a "3rd" jersey released in the coming weeks, but this is not intendend for wear in the Heineken Cup specifically.

And as mtleinster said against which team could we wear it where our home/away jersey would not suffice?

Very strange decisions all round. Like others have said we all would have preferred a yellow/navy 3rd jersey.

That looks like 1 seriously ugly jersey.

It looks OK here. Nicer than the new home or away jerseys I think.

We haven't had a decent jersey since before we won a Heineken Cup.

Fixed that for you you.

Supporters like collars, Players don't

Supporters don't like supports jerseys because the want to wear what the players wear

Therefore supporters dont know what they want

I like it. Connot get my head around the current 1st/2nd shirt. The large harp logo is just wrong.

If anyone is into their classics, there's a 00/01 blue, white and gold striped Bank Of Scotland Ireland sponsored short slieved jersey going for €10 in Oxfam in Rathmines. Great nick too, sort of jersey you'd be splashing €30-€40 on ebay.

This was the only decent jersey since the first ERC win... Was a training jersey, but the squad used to take all their promo pics in it. Savage jersey, and simple! Wish they did something along these lines.... 'Fancy dans' indeed...

There was, also the '08/'09 training one as moddled by Donny B 's avatar there and some bloke called Dave Cahill "Leinster Fan" on Sky Sports was a bit of a fan favourite. Not great quality though, quite heavy for sports clothes and underpreformed under gym conditions IMO. Not one for a long treadmill run.....

Does anyone know where I can buy a jersey like that worn by Joe in today's papers?

Can't see it in the online Leinster shop.
EDIT - Actually it is there

I purchased my first Leinster "home" jersey since the 05 / 06 jersey this season, a few training and supporter jerseys being my preference in between, but I really like this seasons home / away jersey's. Even unicorn jizz grew on me after hating it at first.

The best jersey though (and I do really like current jersey) was the Heineken Cup jersey from last season. Couldn't find it anywhere though. Anyone know if it's possible to still get it? Seemed like no one had it last season when it was current!

After turning Dublin upside down looking for one I found it in the sports shop in Dublin airport (the one just after you clear security) on my way back to Newcastle. There were quite a few there at the time but this was a good few months ago, perhaps February/March. Haven't been into that shop since but if you are traveling it might be worth sticking your head around the door.
