Season ticket renewal e-mail
Did any other STH's just receive the e mail about keeping your seats for next year? Deadline is by March 23rd?? Is that not much earlier than usual??

I think it is. Wonder what next years rates will be?

Seems very early, but I guess they're trying to cash in on the fact that there will still be good will towards Leinster/The Brand because we'll still be in the Heineken Cup. If the quarter final goes badly, for instance, some people might be more inclined to re-evaluate their season ticket purchase.

Dunno, all seems odd to me to be asking for renewal so early.

This is too early!!! I didn't get full use out of my ST this year and I'm contemplating not continuing. But I was waiting till the end of the season to see if I might have make it worth the finances GAH!!

Re: Season ticket renewal e-mail
It's been more or less the same time for the last few years as Dave says. There was one year it was a bit later as it was the year the Aviva opened and the moving of games had to be factored in delaying it IIRC, otherwise it has been late March/early April. I'd agree that for whatever reason it does feel earlier every year though.

Do terrace season tickets still go on general sale at all? I'm seriously considering not getting a season ticket for next season. I live about a 4 hour drive from the RDS at the moment and have missed way more games than I've made this season, but if I give up the terrace ticket will I manage to get one again in the future?

Re: Season ticket renewal e-mail
Could be wrong but think its pretty much fully subscribed (the same as some other locations in the ground) so unless someone gives up 'their' place you might not get an opportunity to buy there again.Danthefan wrote:Do terrace season tickets still go on general sale at all? Re: Season ticket renewal e-mail
Recon this is to do with the waiting list they have been advertising. As season tickets were fully subscribed last year they need to know how many people will be renewing before they can offer places to thoses on the waiting list. The extra time is to allow the new layer of admin.

I just remembered that you can opt to keep your seats but not pay for a couple more months. This relieves me.

Last two season's threads - for comparison
Last year it was indeed March
Year before April
But payments didn't need to be made until later

Believe the actual dates when money is due will be sent out during this week.Blåränderna wrote:I just remembered that you can opt to keep your seats but not pay for a couple more months. This relieves me.

I gave up my terrace st in 09/10 and was able to get a terrace st this season in the public sale.Danthefan wrote:Do terrace season tickets still go on general sale at all? Re: Season ticket renewal e-mail
Why - do you live in Dingle, Co Kerry? According to google maps its a 4 hour drive (344km) from Dingle to Anglesea Road, Ballsbridge. I suggest that you move to the Pale and you will find it a lot easier to get to home matches.Danthefan wrote:Do terrace season tickets still go on general sale at all?
