Don't really think the above is a suitable discussion or post. I don't think it's helpful to be discussing players personal lives, unless they themselves have gone public about a personal issue which I don't believe is the case.

Personally I think it should be deleted. No offence to you as the poster.

If that was as bad a hit to the victim's head as it sounds like, that could be curtains for their career - recurring migraines etc.

Indo aren't naming names but they seem to know the details, suggesting a player was hospitalised.

Yep, hopefully it was just pre-cautionary for the big lad.

Man, it would be awful if there were lingering problems for him after a stupid incident like that. The guy who did it should be persona non grata at any of these binges in the future anyway.

said player was enjoying himself over the weekend at forbidden fruit, along with several other academy teammates, so fingers crossed it was just precautionary.

This has all of the potential to become a "Bailey Risk" as time progresses and Social Media conducts its customary, careful , 'judicial review' of what really happened, how and why. As for the outcome, I hope apologies were exchanged and they all enjoy a good bank holiday break.

There should be no place in Leinster rugby for that sort of offender. Cancel a contract if there is one

well thats an awful rumour to hear, i doubt he'd take it this early in the recovery process. seems fairly determined to return to the field and give it everything he has.

When is his contract up though, that could be a big problem for him if it is up this season.

Ah Jaysus!

I obviously really hope that's not the case- but it was a horrendous injury- so it's not surprising that the offer may have been made.

I'm assuming that was a while ago: last year when he was out?
