Worth checking out highlanders game as well, Cheetahs are having a pretty decent start to the season. If they go well against the force they'll have had a cracking tour of the south seas.

I saw "b-day" when I scanned the tweet afterwards. I've seen more baseless rumours . . .

It was a good one though, in fairness. Very random.

maybe even munster are realising until such time as Earls can hold the ball in 2 hands and look to pass - basically the skill set most others achieve by JCT level - he'll never be a centre.

Methinks Fintan Drury is behind the releasing of the Fitz to munster rumour.

Heard that. Why would any team seek to build a team around somebody with his injury record?

It was from a Conor George article. Nuff said.

Is Conor George a real person? Has anyone ever actually seen him? Or is he just a construct where different journos have a competition to see what they can get away with in an actual written article?

Here's the thing though. Munster can't offer Luke more money, because of the IRFU protocols, so can't think why Drury would be putting this story around anyway. Would make more sense if he was linking him to English clubs like last season.

If Drury (or any sane person) was putting this about who would be his first choice to make sure it is taken seriously?

And his 1648456146415144964844th choice?

I just can't see how a move to Munster makes any sense from Luke's perspective :? . They can't offer him more money and with so many changes at Leinster for next season, when he gets back to fitness, he'd be one of the leaders of the backline.
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

Players in the last 6 months of their contracts are allowed talk to other clubs. Clubs are allowed approach players in the last six months of their contracts.

This is a real thing, a formal approach has been made I'm told, whether anything comes of it, I'd doubt it.
