Re: Connacht v Leinster
The Connacht conspiracy theorists will be going mental........although the phrasing of the question from Clancy made it inevitable a try would be awarded.
We all dream of a team of Sean O'Briens......
Re: Connacht v Leinster
The hands were most definitely pointing forward when the ball was released. Not sure who a few pages ago called him blind Jude . Most aptMackman15 wrote:Thank Christ for an absense of cameras!

If the passer's hands are going backwards its not a forward pass ...dod wrote:Forward pass
I thought our friend Jude really wanted to say ( unfortunately) I cant see a clear and obvious forward pass ...

Re: Connacht v Leinster
Don't agree. The hands were going backwards- but I'll agree I thought the ball was going forward at first viewing. That bloody 'hands rule' is stupid anyway.dod wrote:The hands were most definitely pointing forward when the ball was released. Not sure who a few pages ago called him blind Jude . Re: Connacht v Leinster
His hands may have been pointing backwards but I felt his body angle was such that it went forward. Think everyone was just surprised that we didn't kick it that the rules went out the window.

Scraped it again. I really hate playing them. Where is this game, when Munster and Ulster visit?

Re: Connacht v Leinster
It certainly was. I just hope that the old saw on 'disastrous dress rehearsals' leading to brilliant opening nights holds true vis-a-vis Castres next week.Dave Cahill wrote:That was shocking stuff

Re: Connacht v Leinster
Dave... I really dont know why you think it was 'shocking stuff' you, like me have seen Leinster all season... it was the same old Sh** that we've been getting all Season ( Northampton game in Franklin excepted) Our inability this Season to close out on gilt edge attacking opportunities is what is shocking

Re: Connacht v Leinster
That was an important win whatever it looked like on the pitch.
A poor performance but a win with no injuries (?), that'll do nicely.
If anyone wants a reason to smile have a look at the table.

The odds are good but the goods are odd.
