Matawalu on Fanj is a bit of a nightmare match-up. Not ragging on Fanj but Matawalu's foot speed and overall jinkiness is a tough test for him. Hopefully the Big Red Machine can get a good run up at him and knock him down early.

Should be a tough contest, looking forward to it.
very interesting these two moves
will niko be as effective when not dictating as he would at 9 and how good is vernon's defence at centre etc
In attack- Fanj v Matawalu is a bleedin dream, his arms are so short and he tends tackle quite high by latching on and dropping himself. If the ball makes it out to Fanj and he has a one on one, you'd have to think Matawalu is going on his arse.
Yes. But put the ball in that tricky little Fijian's hands and look at it from the opposite angle. ....

Apart from Cullen and Fanning, it's the best avaialble and I expect to see us play some exciting rugby - even if a bonus point may be a try too far.

I'd like to see Reid do well with more experience around him.

A lot of lads really emptied themselves and were puffing hard by the end. Jordi Murphy, Moore (from around 48) and McGrath as you mentioned.

Delighted for Fange.

Top of the League! Could end up being a very significant result come the end of the season. If Glasgow had won then a home semi spot would have been out of our hands. Still a bit to go but that last few minutes was a potential 7 point swing which we won. Terrible stuff from us to be fair, Madigan is going backwards at a rate of knots in his game management.

Ridiculous strength for Ruddocks try. Did well to weasel to the line.

Due to other stuff I wasn't entirely concentrating on the game while watching on tv but it seemed like there was a good deal more threat and invention in the backline.

Fanj came infield running hard lines and seemed to do it quite well.

Happy to see that Reid appeared to do well too and add another try.

All with the caveat that I was quite distracted by something else and only half taking the game in.

Reddan looked lively, Boss looked slow, I'd say Joe will have a bit of a headache for Italy. Great match from Nigel Owens

Great to see Fangio getting motm. Worked hard and finished the try well.

Noel Reid looks a better player every outing, has some real talent.
Sam with all the surnames looks really sharp, that lad can move!

Wouldn't the pro12 be a great league, if all travelling teams had that intent. Plenty of mistakes and botched attacks, but as good as anything served up in French or English leagues.

Delighted for Fanning as well. Well deserved accolade for an honest, plucky player. Some of the comments about him on this forum were shameful.
The game was weird. Error strewn attack, awful defence, but delighted with the win on a night when the result could've gone either way. 19 points and 15 tries in 4 games isn't a bad return for the six nations window. MOC had said he'd sorted out our defence, well he needs to go back and resort it.
