This competition tends to get a bit lost in the mix in Ireland as the games are held on the same weekends as the Heineken Cup games. The fact that Leinster don't have any other match next weekend might mean a few more will go than would usually turn up for these games. Also means we might be able to field a slightly stronger squad than usual as we've taken nearly 30 man squads to many of the HEC matches this season.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Just checked my original mail, appalling spelling, apologies - I asked the question as I was aware that Leinster were out of the HC and we would more than happy to hosts as many of you as wish to make the trip - it was a cracking game between us 2 seasons ago when we met in the pool stages.

So bring as many as possible to make a great day of it - and a pint is only £3

best regards

If we're talking ~€150 and not a lot more I'd definitely think about it.

Ah Gickpipes. It was 19 each way when I looked a few weeks ago. Forget it so. Factor in trains etc and not even the ridiculously cheap drink can make it up.

Ferries don't seem to seem to suit too well either if one could tag along with someone driving.

Seems to highlight an issue the the B&I draw . . . .

Imagine there would have been a good Donnybrook crowd.

I was mightily impressed with the vocal prowess and resonance coming from the handful of Pont supporters at Donnybrook a couple of years ago. I imagine the atmosphere in Pontypridd will be excellent - and most certainly loud

Keep an eye on the flights - they may go back down again and if you and one or two others were going I'd be happy to go with you and to drive a rental car to allow you to have drinks

Doubt they'll drop now given its less than a week from departure.

About €100 return to Bristol even right now - were under 100 earlier.

I want to. It's the matter of being able to afford to.

So annoyed now that I didn't book last week when it would have cost €40

Almost booked it myself at that price but then I remembered I had a wedding party the night before.

Ponty fans and players were a good laugh when they played us last season, would have been a nice trip to make alright.
