You should complain, I had to lift him across the road while he was swinging.......in his jocks. I've been in therapy for years trying to come to terms with it. Still, that was nothing compared to the fear I felt when I saw his wife's face......

From what i (vaguely) remember he was very lucky to still have his jocks at that stage.

I still don't know how somebody didn't die on that island...

Did anyone see the Ulster fan ejected from the Anglsea stand about 20 minutes into the game? I couldn't tell if they were Garda jackets are steward jackets, but about 4 or 5 shiny jacket people had to remove him from his seat and there seemed to be a hullabaloo in the section around him, which I wouldn't mind, but they were the poshest seat in the house, near enough half way line in the Anglsea!! There were plenty pointing up and laughing from the North Stand, but didn't see what happened.

RE the fans, Ulster fans are one of the best / loudest in Europe. Other than the "off, off, off" chants which are getting a bit old, they make unbelievable noise and are a great set of fans. I thought the trip to the opening of Ravenhill was one of the best atmospheres I've been to in a long time and I thought the game on Saturday in RDS was one of the best atmosphere's I can remember there other than the final with them last season - it's always like a big European night against them, always a superb atmosphere.

Have to say, you can't beat a full house, big game in the RDS. But I'd agree that when we have the place to ourselves, we don't create half as good an atmosphere as when there's a big travelling contingent there (which garnishes a response from the home crowd and makes for a great atmosphere). Shame we don't do it on our own though.

I thought the atmosphere was great, and that there were stages of the game when the Ulster fans were a bit louder than us.

Did anyone else see McFadden exhorting the fans in the Grandstand, trying to get them to make a bit of noise? It was during the second half, prior to the try. I don't think I've ever noticed a player doing that; might that indicate that the team thought we were being out-cheered too?

(We were in the Grandstand, at the 22 closest to the North stand, and this happened pretty much right in front of us.)

Good proper Ulster Buckfast or that free state watered down stuff? ;)

Have to say the home supporters on the terrace (north side) pretty much drowned out any of our more melodic singing. I'm not saying we didn't make a noise, but anything more complicated than 2 syllables was pretty indecernable.

Went to South and where we were was apalling.
Every time we started a roar got no vocal backing.
Completely out cheered by the Ulster gang.
In fact most of the crowd around us never opened rheir gobs the whole game.
And as for that tool Leo. Spent about 5 minutes in front of us admiring himself and only reacted wben I let out a roar, bang your drum you gobshite..
Lets hope its better for fina

I was in terrace (north end) and the Leinster supporters there were brilliant. It was my first time there. I am usually in North Stand and it is so hard to get anyone to cheer. The players are always saying what a difference the support makes. Hopefully the new singing section will change that.

Lets be honest SUFTUM is an easier chant with the Nordie custom of protesting at every perceived injustice "voice" - whereas "allez le blue" ...song with posh D4 accents ....doesn't cut any ice with anyone :)

Must've been on your own then. I was in the south stand and the atmosphere was cracking. The Ulster crowd did out cheer us at the start, but what do you expect? We out cheer most crowds when we go travelling.
