You still see Macken on the wing?

This is a week before the Rabo final. I could see guys in need to gametime getting games, especially someone like McLaughlin who might well be a sub sub.

Macken will start either at 13 or 14 IMO.
McLaughlin needs a lot more than gametime.. can't see him being involved myself.

Did McLaughlin score your bird or something?

Not very gentlemanly to play a capped international in the "A" team......

Would have been much better for us if Leeds had won the Championship semi. This is their end of season now, and though they have a 5 day turnaround they don't have to rest anyone.

Setanta Ireland will be televising the game, if it hasn't already been mentioned.

Nope, but i'd rather see a young lad like Marshall or Ryan play 6 than him..
They have worked their holes off for the A team all year and gotten little reward for it, now at the end of his season an out of form senior player gets parachuted in ahead of them? Nah i'd like to think Leinster are better than that.

McLaughlin should be spending his time getting healthy so he can fight for his spot in the squad next season, he is past playing A rugby.

Nick McCarthy training with A team, Cooney trained aswell but think he could still be a doubt with that shoulder injury he has been carrying.

Anyone reckon we'll see Windsor for this one? Maybe as 22?

Can't see Collie breaking up the Reid/COS parnership. They've been very good together. Macken will be on the wing at best.

Didn't know that. That's great for the game, but might be poor for attendance.

People forget how good Macken is at 13 at this level, or at least how good he was.

Still I think they will go with COS at 13 and Macken on the wing.

Leeds have a real serious runner on the right wing, judging on the two games in the Championship play-off. However, they also seem to have no conviction as to who is their out-half and changed yesterday at half-time. This will be a serious contest and Leeds will be aiming to grab something from their Season

Really looking forward to this game. Would go with

1. O'Connell 2. Tracy 3. Furlong 4. Denton 5. Roux 6. Marshall 7. Ryan 8. Conan
9. McGrath 10. Marsh 11. Coughlin-Murray 12. Reid 13. Macken 14. Hudson 15. Boyle
16. B. Byrne 17. Bent 18. Thornburry 19. Auva'a 20. Cooney 21.O'Shea 22. Dardis / Byrne

Now that Leeds are out of the play-offs, I'd imagine they'll more or less be naming their full strength team for this game?

Adam Byrne is injured.
Gavin Thornbury is injured again too, Molony more likely to be second row sub..
Wouldn't be surprised if there were two backrow on the bench with Marshall covering lock if needed.

It would be an interesting option to have but is unlikely as he's not getting a contract for next season (about as much of the "inside track") as I'll ever get.
